PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  There’re several spiritual blessings and benefits of fasting and one of them is that it helps you maintain spiritual focus. It involves putting away food, but it’s not just about abstinence from food but all forms of distraction for the time being. This helps your spirit to become more sensitive to the Spirit of God. You become more conscious of His leading within your spirit. At such times when your heart and mind are turned away from the things of this world unto the Lord, it becomes easy for you to receive His guidance. If you’re going to be spiritually alert and walk spiritually, you should fast from time to time. That means to centre your attention on the Lord for the time. By creating a mental picture of yourself successfully completing a job, you can increase your chances of success. Try your best and reach for the stars. But do not try to reach without stretching or you would be disappointed. Make your goal public. If you tell someone or write down your goal. You’ve essentially made a promise to keep your word. There are abundant opportunities for you, if you’re willing to put in the work. Be ruthless in cutting out distractions. Your dreams need your energy right now.   MONDAY, 9TH OCTOBER 2023 SPEAK 🗣️ “I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me, and the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me” (Galatians 2:20) .  The life I am living now is not a continuation of the old life that was nailed to the cross with Christ; I arose with Christ out of that tomb , with the resurrection life in me! I am dead to sin and the effects of sin, which includes sick ness and disease.  I declare that because I am dead to sin and its effects, my body does not respond to sickness! My body responds to the Word of God, in the Name of Jesus. Sickness cannot successfully exist in my body because the life in me repels sickness  and disease!  The resurrection life is at work in me. The Bible lets me know , in 1 John 4:17 , that as Jesus is in heaven, so am I now in the earth. I am not going to be like Him in the sweet by and by; I am like ...
