THE DEITY OF CHRIST

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Dsc. Dsc. DD. Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God (John 5:18). Until you discover who Jesus really is, you can’t walk with Him. Jesus is Adonai; He’s the Lord God! The very thought of this blows the mind. No wonder the Jews had difficulty accepting Him. They accused Him of making Himself equal with God because He said God was His Father. They knew that when someone says, “God is my Father,” it doesn’t mean God gave birth to that person, because God is a Spirit. They understood what Jesus was saying: He Himself was Jehovah in human manifestation! In John 10:30, He made another staggering declaration that made them angrier. He said, “I and my Father are one.” In other words, “We’re one and the same; if you’ve seen Me, you’ve seen the Father.” Now, the Jews got really crazy and they took up stones again to stone Him. But Jesus interrupted the

_SUNDAY, JANUARY 14TH 2024_ *THE SECOND COMING IS NOT FOR THE SAINTS* *…when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ (2 Thessalonians 1:7-8).* _PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME_  *The distinction between the Rapture and the Second Coming of Christ, for most people, has been a source of confusion. Nevertheless, the Scriptures unambiguously delineate these two distinct events.* _First, the Second Coming of Christ is not intended for Christians. The Rapture of the Church is meant for Christians, and it will occur before the Second Coming._ *In the Second Coming of Christ, we will come together with Him, but it's primarily a time of judgment. It's called the day of His wrath, the day of His judgment (2 Thessalonians 1:7-8). This judgment takes place before He establishes the 1,000 years of peace. In Matthew 24:29, where Jesus Himself speaks about thi

SATURDAY, JANUARY 13TH 2024 A PRACTISE FOR US No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath DECLARED him (John 1:18).  PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  The word declared in our opening verse is from the Greek “exegeomai” and it means to rehearse or unfold. So, what that verse is saying is that Jesus rehearsed divinity to us. How He lived, and the things He did, as recorded in the Scriptures, was a practice for us to see and know how to live the life of the Kingdom. No wonder the Bible says He has given us an example that we should follow His steps: “For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps” (1 Peter 2:21). Jesus rehearsed the God-life to us. He rehearsed righteousness to us.  He came to live before us so we could know what God is like. John 1:14 says, “And the Word was made (became) flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the

1. *Make friends with successful people* and occasionally buy them gift and surprise them with lunch because successful people always give and hardly get, so when you give them, they value the gift a lot. 2. *Get a mentor and follow his instructions* and respect the relationship. Never beg your mentor for money or disrespect his or her privacy. 3. *Make new positive friends* as often as possible and ensure you keep the communication line open. Create a network of friends and not just connections. 4. *Show kindness to everyone.* Some small boys today will be big boys tomorrow. The biggest dog in the neighborhood was once a puppy. And keep the information/secret to yourself. 5. *Always plan ahead* and be proactive. He that plans the future works less in the future. 6. *Listen to speeches and messages from great teachers.* Both religious and educational. 7. *Attend seminars and trainings* on any area you need to improve yourself.
