RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

THURSDAY, JUNE 6TH 2024 WE HAVE RECEIVED A KINGDOM And I confer on you a kingdom, just as my Father conferred one on me (Luke 22:29 NIV). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  A short while before the Lord’s crucifixion, He said something remarkable to His disciples. He acknowledged and commended them for their steadfastness, noting their faithful support during His trials. For that reason, He said, “…I confer on you a kingdom, just as my Father conferred one on me” (Luke 22:29 NIV). Hebrews 12:28 further helps us understand the depth of this proclamation. It says, “Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.” At first glance, if not studied with caution, and in context, one might perceive this as a future promise. But that's not the case. It’s in the affirmative.  If you read it from the Complete Jewish Bible (CJB), it conveys the sense of it being in the affirmative. It says, "Therefore, sin

_Being falsely accused is undoubtedly a challenging experience, but it's also an opportunity to demonstrate resilience, integrity, and strength of character. Instead of allowing the accusations to define you, use them as a catalyst for growth and self-discovery. Remain calm, gather evidence to defend yourself, and seek support from trusted friends, family, or professionals. Remember that the truth will eventually prevail, and your response to adversity will speak volumes about your character. Stay focused on your goals, maintain your dignity, and rise above the false accusations with grace and determination._

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 5TH 2024 THE INHERITANCE IS ALREADY YOURS .....that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me (Acts 26:18). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  Every child of God is born into an incorruptible inheritance in Christ. There’s an inheritance for you. The Apostle Paul refers to it in Ephesians 3:8 as unsearchable riches: “…the unending (boundless, fathomless, incalculable, and exhaustless) riches of Christ [wealth which no human being could have searched out]” (AMPC). If this is true, and thank God it is, why then are there many people who are struggling in life when they ought to be living in God’s abundant blessings? It’s because of their ignorance of God’s truths. God said in Hosea 4:6, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge….”  No wonder Paul said in Acts 20:32, “And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all the

JUNE 2024 GLOBAL COMMUNION SERVICE WITH PASTOR CHRIS.

REV CHRIS OYAKHILOME DSC DSC DD This is the month of June and every year for us it is the month of Prayer.   I want to read some verses of the bible to you John 14:12&13 Jesus is talking here.   Its remarkable what he said here.   Isaiah 53:1-6,10-11 The prophet is talking about Jesus Christ here.   He prophesied many years  before Jesus Christ.  (About 700 years before fulfilment.)  He spoke concerning the son of God who would come and take sinful mans place and be crucified.  V10-11 After his sacrifice for man,  He shall see his seed... He shall prolong his days The church,  the nodybof Christ,  is prophetically refered to here as "His seed" and that's wonderful.  No wonder,  in listing the different generations,  He lists Christ as two generations.  One is the man Jesus himself and  the second is his seed; the church (the 13th and 14th generation from the carrying away into babylon)  The  church carries on the works of Christ.  V8: "Who shall declare his gener

SUNDAY, JUN 2ND 2024 THE LIGHT OF HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world (Philippians 2:15). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  In Matthew 5:14 NKJV, the Lord Jesus said, “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.” It bears comparison to what we read in our opening scripture. In Isaiah 60:2, the prophet prophesied, “For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.”  In Christ Jesus, the glory of the Lord is resident in us, so much so that the Word declares that we are His glory! We’re the light of His righteousness in a dark and cynical world. Hallelujah! It makes no difference what the darkness and problems in the world are; you’re the hope and the solution that the world needs. The Lord Jesus said in John 9:5, “As
