 TUESDAY, AUGUST 8TH 2023 CHRIST—OUR RIGHT-STANDING BEFORE THE FATHER But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption (1 Corinthians 1:30). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  I’ve often said that the biggest subject in all of God’s Word is righteousness. Righteousness is the nature of God that defines His character and ways of doing things. It is the rightness of God; His attribute of always being right. This nature and attribute of God when imparted to the human spirit at the new birth gives him right-standing. Right-standing refers to the right or ability to stand in the presence of God without guilt, fear, inferiority, or condemnation. 6th, August 2023. Romans 5:17 In a broader teaching of this subject, I've explained that when God says this, thatbthey shall reign BY Jesus Christ, it means "Through".  PURIFIED BY THE WORD SUNDAY, AUGUST 6TH 2023 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God (1 Corinthians 6:11). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  The Apostle Paul, in the 11th verse of 1 Corinthians 6 makes a striking statement to establish the present state of the Corinthian Christians, emphasizing that they were washed, sanctified and justified in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and by the Spirit of our God.
