FRIDAY, MARCH 15TH 2024 RIGHTEOUSNESS: A GIFT TO THE UNGODLY For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ (Romans 5:17). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  Righteousness is one of the cardinal gifts of God; but did you know that it was a gift to the world and not to Christians? It’s a gift to the ungodly. The Bible refers to God in Romans 4:5 as One who justifies the ungodly: “But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.” Notice it didn’t say He justifies the Christians. The Christian didn’t “receive” the gift of righteousness; the Christian was born righteous. You were born as the righteousness of God when you were born again. Revelation 1:1 "The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John" The details in this book are so important. Don't miss anything. He introduces the book so that you understand WHY it is called the book of "Revelation". It is the Revelation of Jesus Christ.  "Things which must shortly come to Pass": the Greek communication is on the strength of it's coming to pass in quick succession...not in its nearness.  "To show to his servants"... SUNDAY, MARCH 10TH 2024 IT’S ALL IN YOUR SPIRIT A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh (Luke 6:45). And it’s through your spirit that you make contact with God, for God is a Spirit.
