God’s house can mean three things. First, your body is God’s house because He lives in you. Second, the church family is God’s house. Third, the building where we gather to worship is also called God’s house. As God’s child, your actions and words should show love and respect. One way to do this is by keeping your body neat and clean. The Bible says, *“…present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God…”* (Romans 12:1). Also, when you’re in church, stay focused, listen, learn, and worship. It’s a special time to pay attention and honour the Lord. Be kind and helpful to other children in church. It shows us that it isn’t just our spirits that are joined to the Body of Christ; even our very bodies are part of Him! So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me_ *(Hebrews 13:5-6)* God didn’t give us the Scriptures merely for information, inspiration, or moral instruction. While the Scriptures certainly build and educate us, Hebrews 13:5-6 gives us a profound insight into the ultimate reason God speaks to us. His Word produces in us and for us what it talks about.
