𝐍𝐄𝗪 𝐓𝗢𝐍𝐆𝐔𝐄𝐒 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐃𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐄 𝐓𝗢𝐍𝐆𝐔𝐄𝐒 𝐄𝐗𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐃 | What did Jesus mean? — 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬

Question: Pastor, I would like to ask how to speak in new tongues. I’ve been speaking in tongues for years now and just recently it feels as though the tongues just don't come out as freely as I would want them to. How do I speak in new tongues? 🔴 First, let’s distinguish what you’re asking from what Jesus meant when He said “they shall speak with new tongues” – Mark 16:17. Jesus was referring to a brand-new spiritual language, different from your native tongue. But you’ve already been speaking in tongues for years. So your concern is not about receiving the initial tongues, but about expanding your spiritual vocabulary. 🔴 So, how do you speak in new tongues beyond what you already have? 1️⃣ DURING PRAYER: As you pray and stay inspired in prayer, new tongues will well up from your spirit. Let them flow! Don’t suppress them. Even if you have to start speaking them quietly, your spirit will pick them up and grow in fluency. 2️⃣ WHILE LISTENING TO THE WORD OF GOD: Inspiration will r...

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES

FRIDAY, JUNE 20TH 2025 THE PROFUNDITY OF HIS AUTHORITY And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues (Mark 16:17). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  How wonderful this is; the Lord Jesus gave us authority over all devils. He also gave us the power of attorney, the legal right, to use His Name, to act in His behalf. In other words, even if you gave your life to Christ just this morning, you have the legal right, the authority to cast out devils in the Name of Jesus. Notice again the words of the Master, “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils...” (Mark 16:17). It’s the first thing He said we could do in His Name. And He didn’t say it was for some select few, like the evangelists, prophets and pastors only, no; it’s everyone who believes. You can act on that Word right now and have results. An important question to ask would be, how much power do you wield when you’re give...

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 18TH 2025 THROUGH HIM, WE ALWAYS PREVAIL And Asa cried unto the LORD his God, and said…help us, O LORD our God; for we rest on thee, and in thy name we go against this multitude. O LORD, thou art our God; let not man prevail against thee (2 Chronicles 14:11). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  There’s a remarkable story of war in the days of Asa, king of Judah. The Bible tells us in 2 Chronicles 14:9 that Zerah the Ethiopian came against Judah with an army of a million men and three hundred chariots. That was an overwhelming force. But Asa didn’t cower in fear; instead, he went out to face them, setting the battle in array in the valley of Zephathah at Mareshah. Then Asa did something inspiring; he cried unto the Lord his God for help! Though vastly outnumbered, he knew he needed a miracle, and his trust was in the Lord. He recognized that numbers meant nothing to God. His confidence was in the Name of the Lord. He said, "...in thy name we go against this multitude. O LORD, ...

🔴Prayer works. 🔴A lot of Christians suffer because they don’t pray.  🔴When we pray, there’s nothing that we can’t do.  🔴We ride over whatever plans are put in place.  🔴We are not in this world as victims.  🔴Power belongs to God.  🔴We have the greater one living inside us.  🔴Learn to pray.  🔴Understand something: the world belongs to us. Have no fear. 📖Ephesians 6:10-12 KJV Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 🔴When you’re on top, you never worry about who is troubling you.  🔴A cat never worries about which rat is causing problems.  🔴We are not afraid of the devil and demons of darkness.  🔴We have more power than th...

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

SUNDAY,  JUNE 15TH 2025 VISION AND STRATEGY And the LORD said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valour (Joshua 6:2). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME In our previous study, we emphasized the importance of seeing and creating the future you desire through the power of vision. Today, we take it a step further by understanding the necessity of having a strategy. Many of God’s children, though able to visualize, lack the vital element of strategy. Joshua 6 provides a remarkable example of how vision and strategy work together to produce divine results. God said to Joshua, “See, I have given into thine hand Jericho.” The battle had not yet begun, but God declared the victory. Joshua had to see it first—this is the power of vision, seeing what God has already given you and acting accordingly. However, vision alone is not enough. God gave Joshua the vision, but Joshua needed a strategy to take the city. The divine strategy was for h...

FRIDAY, JUNE 13TH 2025 STAND FIRM—REFUSE TO COMPROMISE When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee (Isaiah 43:2). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  You may find yourself buffeted by pressures and persecutions on every side for the sake of the Gospel; don’t despair. What you’re doing has a future. Your labour in the Lord is not in vain; it is purposeful and eternal. God never promised that everything would be smooth or without challenges. He told us there would be difficulties, trials and adversaries. But in the midst of them all, He assured us of His presence and victory. Recall what we read in our opening scripture; He didn’t say there would be no tempest or fire. The promise is not the absence of challenges but the assurance of His presence and protection for you in the midst of adversities. It helps you understa...

JUNE GLOBAL COMMUNION SERVICE

REV CHRIS OYAKHILOME DSC DSC DD Last month was the month of Blessings and we learned about the blessing of Abraham. Last month I told you that it was very important for you as God's children to study the subject and understand it God really wants us to walk in the knowledge of the blessings of Abraham with clear understanding. As much as we have enjoyed so much blessing from God, I want you to know that there is so much more. It's my prayer that God's people will enter into the level of God's plan. We've seen a lot but what God really wants you to see is far higher than most people can even conceptualize. So much more.  Genesis 26:12-13 Look at what the Bible says about Isaac.  God blessed him a hundred fold; Not a hundred percent. it's a hundred times what he sowed.  This happened because He was the seed of Abraham. That's all there was about it. It had nothing to do with any other qualifications. God blessed him because he was the seed of Abraham. Deuteron...
