But from our opening Scripture, we can decipher that the gift of prophecy ranks above all the other gifts of the Spirit that you should desire. God wants you to operate the gift of prophecy. _Success and failure can both be temporary. What truly matters is the person you remain through both. Don't be a victim of your negative thoughts. Renew your mind; things can get better._ _We can't keep learning if we think we already know everything. Let go of the associations that don't support the new version of you. Let nothing block you._ _Trust God to take ownership of your journey. Don't bow to societal pressure if it doesn't align with your vision. Don't feel guilty of disappointing others. You're meant to fulfill your purpose, not chase the road others force you to follow. You owe that to yourself. You are not helpless; you have the capacity to change things. Be an energy converter. Whatever comes your way, convert it into what you want it to become. Everything is how you respond to it, not how it actually has to be._

_Your diet is not only what you eat. It is also what you listen to, watch, read, and, most importantly, the people you hang out with._ _Food affects your physical health, but these other things affect your mental and spiritual health. That is why you see some people who look good physically are experiencing deep non-clinical depression. You can't eat well, then watch and listen to things that poison your mind. Things that promote ungodliness and expect to feel well. They will poison your soul. You are more than just your body. You are a spirit and have a mind that need to be fed well and protected from junks._ _You will not thrive if you have a well nourished body carrying a malnourished minds. That is the root of many (not all) incidents of depression._

It should be your way of life as a child of God. The Lord wants you to thank Him every day, not only when something special happens. A thankful heart is always joyful and ready to receive more from the Lord. Jesus lived this way. Before raising Lazarus from the dead, He first gave thanks to God (John 11:41). When He fed five thousand people with five loaves and two fishes, He also gave thanks before the miracle happened (John 6:11). Jesus showed us that thanksgiving comes before great results. That branch then draws nutrients from the new root system to which it is attached and begins producing fruit with better qualities as a result. However, if the grafting isn’t complete, the branch might still try to produce its original less desirable fruit or fail to thrive entirely. _As you learn about what will help you to make progress in life, it's equally important to know what could hinder or slow you down. Sometimes, the weight you have to lose isn't on your body but on your mind. Anger, resentment and jealousy don't change the hearts of others- it only changes yours. Never respond to an angry person with a fiery comeback, even if he deserves it. Don't allow his anger become your anger._ _The most important places to keep clean and tidy are your heart and mind. Refuse to allow resentment, bitterness, unforgiveness, anger, cynicism find expressions in you and through you. Unforgiveness is like holding the door open for the devil; It's like drinking poison and hoping it would hurt someone else._ _To be unforgiving is to allow circumstances rob you of your joy in life. God’s house can mean three things. First, your body is God’s house because He lives in you. Second, the church family is God’s house. Third, the building where we gather to worship is also called God’s house. As God’s child, your actions and words should show love and respect. While the Scriptures certainly build and educate us, Hebrews 13:5-6 gives us a profound insight into the ultimate reason God speaks to us. His Word produces in us and for us what it talks about.
