╔════════════════╗   *RHAPSODY OF REALITIES*     *FOR EARLY READERS* ╚════════════════╝ *👤PASTOR CHRIS* 3rd May *IT MATTERS HOW YOU THINK* My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings… keep them in the midst of your heart *(Proverbs 4:20-21)* God cares about how you think. Your thoughts are important because they can bring joy and peace, or sadness and fear.  An example is King David in the Bible. When he saw Goliath, everyone else thought, *“This giant is too big.”* But David thought differently. He believed God was with him, and that right thinking gave him the victory (1 Samuel 17). Your thoughts can help you grow. That’s why God wants you to fill your heart with His Word. When you think about what is true, good, and right, your life will go in the right direction. So today, choose to think God’s thoughts as you meditate on His Word, and you’ll live a beautiful life every day! *📖SCRIPTURE READING* *Proverbs 4:20-22* My son,...

_Pastor Chris Oyakhilome_ _Wednesday, June 3rd 2026_ *THE FATHER IN YOU* _(The Holy Spirit Within You Is Your Advantage)_ *TO THE BIBLE:* *Acts 1:8 NIV* _“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”_ *LET’S TALK* *“Ugh… I studied so hard, but this subject is still confusing,”* David sighed. Sarah smiled and said, *“Before I started reading, I prayed and asked the Holy Spirit to help me. Suddenly, everything made sense.”* David looked surprised. *“Wait… you mean God can actually help with stuff like schoolwork too?”* Sarah nodded. *“Of course. He lives in us. That’s our advantage.”* Yes, the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of power. When He came to live in you, He brought the dynamic ability to cause changes. That power is not dormant; it’s stirred through prayer, faith, and bold confessions of the Word. He’s also the Spirit of revelation. He unveils mysteries ...

_Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD_ _Wednesday, June 3rd 2026_ *CONTINUALLY NOURISHED BY THE WORD* _Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God_ *(Matthew 22:29)* The Lord Jesus made a striking statement when He said, *“You err because you know not the Scriptures.”* This shows that ignorance of God’s Word inevitably leads to error. When the Word of God is absent from a person’s life, confusion and misdirection become inevitable.  The knowledge of the Scriptures keeps you aligned with God’s truth and preserves you from deception. That’s why studying and meditating on the Word should be a daily and constant experience in your life. The Word of God can be likened to the Manna that God fed the children of Israel with in the wilderness. He instructed them not to store it for the next day.  Each day’s provision had to be gathered afresh. When the Lord Jesus later declared in John 6:35, *“…I am the bread of life…,”* He r...

╔════════════════╗   RHAPSODY OF REALITIES     FOR EARLY READERS ╚════════════════╝ Tuesday, June 2nd, 2026 Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD THE LORD IS YOUR PEACE 📖 "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you..." (Isaiah 26:3). God wants you to enjoy a life full of peace---no panic, worry, or fear. Sometimes, when things feel tough, your heart may feel troubled. But when you fill your heart with God's Word, it'll be filled with peace. Remember the story of Daniel in the lions' (Daniel 6). Even though he was surrounded by lions, Daniel stayed calm because he trusted God completely, and God gave him perfect peace right in the middle of danger. When you feel confused, worried about school, or upset about something, don't let fear take over your thoughts. Rather, remember God's Word. The Bible says that God gives perfect peace to those who trust Him (Isaiah 26:3). So, choose to trust God by fixing your mind on His Word ever...

LET'S TALK ⏩ A skilled architect never begins construction without first seeing the building in his mind. Before the first brick is laid, the vision is clear---every line, every level, every purpose carefully imagined. In the same way, God has designed the human spirit to see before it experiences. When you pray in tongues, you're not merely uttering sounds; you're engaging a divine system for creating realities. Did you know that you can actually create visions while speaking in tongues? This is one reason you must let the Holy Spirit guide your mind in prayer. There's a difference between a spiritual vision from God that He...

PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Dsc. Dsc. DD. TUESDAY JUNE 02 2026 🟥 *THE GIFT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS AND ITS POWER* For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ (Romans 5:17). Righteousness is the nature of God that reveals His rightness—His ability to be right, only and always right. It’s His equity in judgment, His fairness to anyone and everyone. This is why righteousness belongs to God alone; no man by his own effort can attain it. This was the dilemma: God gave the Law, but man couldn’t keep it, not because the Law was wrong but because man by sin had lost the ability to fulfil it. How then could man relate with a God who demands absolute righteousness? This is why the Lord Jesus came. He knew we could never attain righteousness by ourselves; it was impossible. So, He came to give us His life and nature. When you received Christ, you received the very ...

_As God’s people, we’re encouraged to be involved in the work of the ministry, to take the message of salvation to the unsaved and reconcile men to God. But while you’re at it, live a life that’s pleasing to the Lord. Christianity is a call to righteousness and a walk in righteousness. Don’t live in sin. The Bible says sin shall not have dominion over you (Romans 6:14). Serve God in holiness and righteousness. Stay in the Word and practise your Christianity, regardless of the pressures. Live the life of a righteous person every day._

The world can’t define righteousness; it must be understood from God’s perspective. How can a man who isn’t righteous describe righteousness? It’s impossible to define what you’ve never known or experienced.  For many, righteousness is reduced to moral uprightness, often an exaggerated view of personal conduct. Some consider themselves righteous in their work; others in their families or communities. But these are human attempts to define something divine.  The Scriptures tell us something important about man’s righteousness and the different kinds of righteousness that exist in the world: they’re as filthy rags: *“But we are all as an unclean thing, and all...

_Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD_ _Sunday, May 31st 2026_ *THE KINDNESS OF GOD* _And the king said, Is there not yet any of the house of Saul, that I may shew the kindness of God unto him?..._ *(2 Samuel 9:3)* In the Old Testament, the word translated *“mercy”* comes from the Hebrew word *“hesed.”* It means lovingkindness, but more specifically, it is covenant kindness; kindness rooted in covenant, not in merit. The example of David and Jonathan’s son, Mephibosheth, gives us a clear and practical picture of how covenant mercy works (2 Samuel 9). Long after Jonathan’s death and well into his reign as king, David was moved by the covenant he had made with Jonathan. He asked a deliberate question: *“…Is there yet any that is left of the house of Saul, that I may shew him kindness for Jonathan's sake?”* (2 Samuel 9:1). David wasn’t asking if there was someone he could merely acknowledge. The word *“shew”* used means to demonstrate. David was looking for someone to whom h...

As God’s child, God wants you to be someone who thinks about others, not just yourself. The Bible says in 1 Timothy 2:1-4 that we should pray for everyone, our friends, family and even our leaders.    Nehemiah did this when he helped rebuild Jerusalem’s walls. He didn’t think only about his own safety; he told the people, “Fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your homes.” He wanted everyone to be protected (Nehemiah 4:14).   Don’t only pray for your own needs. So it is with the Christian who understands the source of their strength. When you recognize that your power doesn’t come from yourself but from the Almighty God who lives within you, every obstacle becomes a stepping stone, every storm an opportunity to display the power of God.    The Bible declares clearly, “God is my strength and power, and He makes my way perfect” (2 Samuel 22:33 NKJV). This means your strength is limitless because it is God’s very own strength coursing through you. 1 John 4:4 NKJV assures us, “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.” You hail from God; therefore, your strength is supernatural. For example, in some of Paul’s writings, he opens with the words, “grace, mercy, and peace, as in 1 Timothy 1:2, *“...Grace, mercy, and peace from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.”* He repeats the same blessing in his second letter to Timothy and again to Titus.  The apostle John echoes it as well: *“Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ...”* (2 John 1:3). Why did the apostles consistently pronounce grace, mercy, and peace? It’s because of their profound importance in the Christian life.  The Scriptures reveal men and women who found grace in the sight of God. Noah, for example, found grace before the Lord even when judgment was det...
