PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME As Christians, when we say Jesus Christ is Lord of our lives, it means more than He being our saviour. The Hebrew and Greek words for "Lord" carry the same meaning, which includes master, caretaker, bread provider, sustainer, boss, and teacher. This is the essence of what it means for Jesus to be Lord; it means He’s your sustainer, your master, your caretaker, your bread provider, and your teacher. If this is true, and thank God it is, then it means He’s more than capable of taking care of you. You don’t have to beg Him to take care of you or plead with Him to provide your needs with a sense of desperation as if He’s reluctant to do so.
