From our opening scripture above, we see that our Lord Jesus made us ambassadors of peace and told us exactly how to minister peace. He said, “When you enter into a house, first say, Peace be to this house.” He didn’t say to wish it silently or to think it; He said to say it because there’s power in your words. You speak with heaven’s authority. Then, He said, “...If the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you again” (Luke 10:6). That means peace is transferable. When you speak peace, you release divine substance—the very peace of Jesus Christ Himself—into that environment. And if it’s not received, it returns to you, full and intact. Glory to God!
