AMBASSADORS OF PEACE

And into whatsoever house ye enter, first say, Peace be to this house (Luke 10:5).

PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Dsc. Dsc. DD.

From our opening scripture above, we see that our Lord Jesus made us ambassadors of peace and told us exactly how to minister peace. He said, “When you enter into a house, first say, Peace be to this house.” He didn’t say to wish it silently or to think it; He said to say it because there’s power in your words. You speak with heaven’s authority.

Then, He said, “...If the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you again” (Luke 10:6). That means peace is transferable. When you speak peace, you release divine substance—the very peace of Jesus Christ Himself—into that environment. And if it’s not received, it returns to you, full and intact. Glory to God!

When you pray for nations or cities, the Lord has given us the same pattern. Speak peace to them. Say, “Peace be upon Bulgaria. Peace be upon Nigeria. Peace be upon Ghana. Peace be upon Hungary. Peace be upon Poland. Peace be upon Russia. Peace be upon the United Kingdom. Peace be upon the United States of America.” Speak peace to the nations of the world. Declare it boldly. You’re an oasis of peace in a troubled world.

Remember what the Lord said in John 14:27, “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” Speak as one that has actually been given peace by the Prince of Peace Himself. We’re bearers of His peace that surpasses understanding. And His peace always comes with prosperity, for peace and prosperity are bound together in divine harmony.

Peace also means power over crisis, power over turbulence and the raging negative circumstances of life. Just as the Master declared peace over the raging tempest when He was sailing with His disciples (Mark 4:39), speak peace over your home, your family, and everything that concerns you, in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for making me an ambassador of peace. I carry the peace of Christ everywhere I go. I speak peace to my nation, to its leaders, and to all people. I declare that peace and prosperity prevail in my home, in my family and amongst my loved ones, in the mighty Name of the Lord Jesus. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY:
Isaiah 52:7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!

John 14:27 AMPC Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.]

2 Thessalonians 3:16 Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

MONDAY AUGUST 26TH 2024 EXTRICATED FROM DEATH …who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel (2 Timothy 1:10).  PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  The Bible records that in ancient times, humans lived for exceptionally long periods with lifespans exceeding 900 years. However, as sin increased, lifespans diminished. Genesis 6:3 says because of sin, man's lifespan was limited to 120 years. Moses, in his psalms, made an observation that due to sin, the typical lifespan of man was seventy years or eighty for those who were stronger. Even in old age, man’s life was filled with toil and sorrow, ultimately ending in death (Psalm 90:8-10). The Lord Jesus, however, came to address the root cause of this limitation, which is sin. Through His sacrifice, He provided salvation from sin and made eternal life possible. Eternal life includes “deathlessness.” When you were born again, you passed from death to life (John 5:24). Recall what we read in our them...

TUESDAY, JULY 1ST 2025 CUSTODIANS OF A MESSAGE THAT WORKS For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth... (Romans 1:16). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  The Gospel of Jesus Christ that we preach is a message that truly works. It’s a message that produces undeniable results for everyone who believes it. It’s the reason you must be quick and bold to share it with others. I remember talking to a man who had a very severe heart condition. The doctors had diagnosed him with heart failure and said he needed a transplant. But as I shared the Gospel with him, I said, “While I’m talking with you, there’ll be a change in your heart. All you have to do is believe what I’m telling you; just believe and give me a few minutes of your attention.” He agreed. So, I kept talking to him, sharing with him the words of life. After about 15 minutes, I said to him, “It’s done.” And he replied, “Yes; it’s done.” The next test conducted on him ...
