NEW YEAR EVE SERVICE WITH PASTOR CHRIS

DECEMBER 31ST 2024 REV CHRIS OYAKHILOME DSC DSC DD I want to share with you and important message that's going to take you into the year 2025. It's very significant. It means a lot.  I perceive that we might as well begin our countdown to the Lord's soon return and I'm very serious.  In the weeks and months ahead, I'm going to be sharing some very important things with you that will help you on your way. So, as we learn of what the Lord has in mind, you understand the significance of this.  James 1:4 Several versions were trying to explain this verse in the course of their translation but King James captures it the best from Greek. Observe two Key words; 'Perfect' and 'Entire'.  "Perfect" means "Complete". That's another synonym for the same word.  "Entire" is also very significant. It means "complete in every part". Nothing that is needed is missing. It is hope. Colossians 4:12 PLEROMA means to be full. To...

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

FRIDAY, JANUARY 3RD 2025 STAY IN THE WORD Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;) That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth (Ephesians 6:1-3). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Dsc. Dsc. DD. Someone asked the question: “How powerful are curses or blessings spoken by parents over their children?” Such curses or blessings, according to the Bible, have impactful implications; they could be quite powerful. When you study the Bible, you’d find blessings by parents and curses by parents and how they came to pass. Being born again, it’s important to understand that we’re called into a life of blessings by God. We were called to inherit a blessing (1 Peter 3:9). If, however, you had a problem with your parents before you were born again and they pronounced a curse on you, now that you’re born again, that curse will no longer have any effect. You should nevertheless go and reconcil...

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 1ST 2025 GET BUSY FOR THE LORD Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord… (James 5:7). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Dsc. Dsc. DD. This year is a very special year, and one of the things you should schedule to do every day is talk to people about Jesus; preach the Gospel with much passion. The urgency of the moment demands it. The Lord is coming soon. When we talk about the coming of the Lord, which is the second advent of the Lord, in-between is another very important event, which is the catching away of the Church; it’s called the Rapture of the Church.  The Rapture is the event described in the Bible where the dead in Christ shall rise, and we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them and taken out of this world to meet the Lord in the air. This event— the Rapture of the Church—is very near; therefore, the Bible says, “Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be...” (2 Peter 3:11)...

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 31ST 2024 FORGIVENESS IS IN THE PACKAGE The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree. Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins (Acts 5:30-31). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Dsc. Dsc. DD. What we just read brings to mind the words of the Lord Jesus when He appeared to Saul of Tarsus. He told him He was sending him to the Gentiles, “To open their eyes…that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me” (Acts 26:18).  Notice the emphasis in the latter part on receiving forgiveness of sins, not asking for it. You’re to “take” forgiveness of sins. Read that latter part again and see the connection between receiving forgiveness of sins and our inheritance; they’re both under the same Greek word “Lambano.”  The same way you receive an inheritance is how you receive forgiveness. Just as it...

WORD OF THE MONTH FOR 2024, THE YEAR OF REDEMPTION
