There’re those who aren’t sure what Christianity really is. So, they suffer from an identity crisis, because they don’t know who they are. The Christian has eternal life, and that life is superior to sickness, decay, and death; How then could sickness, lack, discouragement, depression, be normal with you? Philippians 2:12 says, “…work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.” Make your Christianity real by “living” it. The Word won’t work until you work it. You’re the one to work things out, by His power working in you. Take a hold of the Word, and live by it, and your life will be excellent and full of glory. SATURDAY, AUGUST 5TH 2023 THE BIBLE: AN EPIC OF THE SPIRIT All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works (2 Timothy 3:16-17). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  When you study the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, you’ll come to the realization that indeed, the whole Bible is an epic of the Spirit. Moses, by the Spirit, wrote, “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth…And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters” (Genesis 1:1-2). This extraordinary person of the Godhead—the Holy Spirit—is introduced to us in the very beginning. In the book of Proverbs, we read about His intent which was to dwell in us and have fellowship with us.  SATURDAY, 5TH AUGUST 2023 SPEAK 🗣️ The Bible says in Isaiah 33:24, “And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick…”   I refuse to be sick because it’s not in my nature. I’m a new creation in Christ Jesus; old things are passed away, and all things are become new. The man that could be sick is dead; the ‘me’ that’s alive today has Zoe - the supernatural life of God that makes me invincible and impregnable to sickness, disease, and infirmity.    I have the life of God in me; it’s the superior life of glory, success, and victory. Thank You, Lord, for making it possible for me to receive this glorious and wondrous life into my spirit, thus making me superhuman. Praise God!   I belong in God’s class of divine beings; therefore, I look beyond the natural realm of existence to my heavenly rights, blessings, and provisions in Christ Jesus! In the New Testament, you’d observe that the word “minister” is copiously used. It’s however important to note that there’re three Greek words from which it’s translated. The first one is “doulos,” which is like a servant or a slave. Paul sometimes called himself a “doulos” (a bondservant)—a slave or servant of Jesus Christ (Romans 1:1).  ThenanotherGreekwordfor“minister”is “hupēretēs,” which refers to the office of ministry, like we find in the story of the conversion of the Apostle Paul on his way to Damascus. During that conversion, Jesus said to Paul, “…for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen…” (Acts 26:16).  Jesus appeared to Paul and called him into an office of ministry. FRIDAY, 4TH AUGUST 2023 SPEAK 🗣️ Romans 8:11 says, “But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwelleth in you .” .  The life of my body is no longer of blood but by the Spirit of God. That same Spirit that raised Jesus Christ from the dead dwells in me.  He is in my head He is in my hands over me . . He is in my feet . It is not possible for my He's all blood to be infected, because that same Spirit causes divine vitalization in my body! From the crown of my head to the soles of my feet, the Holy Ghost vitalizes my mortal body! My body is the temple of the Holy Ghost!  I am His living tabernacle; therefo re, no sickness and no infirmity can share these quarters with the Holy Spirit!  We are all travelers in the wilderness of this world, and the best we can find in our travels is an honest friend. People are lonely because they build walls instead of bridges. When you cultivate quality relationships, not only do you feel better and help your friends feel better, but you contribute to an increase of joy, love, and peace in the world. Never be afraid to ask for help, especially when you have good friends or family who are likely more than willing to help out. The beauty of friendship is loyalty.  If you lose a friend because you're honest, it wasn't a good friend. Positive times happen with positive people. There can be no friendship without confidence, and no confidence without integrity. A true friend stabs you in the front not at your back. Hold a good friend in both your hands.
