2 Corinthians 4:17 says "For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;" Never be flustered by circumstances or threats. Christ lives in you and He’s the greater One. Therefore, when you face crises, declare, “Greater is He that’s in me than all the adversities and adversaries that could ever come against me!” Whatever you may be going through today is a light affliction; it came “to pass.” So refuse to allow anything steal your joy. Your life responds to your words, and your words should be controlled by God's Word. Your life is according to what you say.  It's your confession that got you saved, not someone else's confession, so only your words have greater impact on your life. Watch what you say. Your life is the character of your words. You can't have a life that's different from your words. You are the prophet of your life!  Learn to say NO when people say things that contradict who you are! Never be neutral, take a position, and that should be God's position. The world cannot label you, the Word of God has already labelled you a success. You are not a quitter, we don't quit. For you to fail, God would have to fail, so you can't fail. Greater is He that's in you than he that's in the world. Help comes to you. The next time they'll hear of you, it's testimonies and testimonies. Winners never quit and quitters never win. FRIDAY, AUGUST 30TH 2024 HIS JUSTICE ALWAYS PREVAILS No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD (Isaiah 54:17).  PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  In Esther 3, the Bible tells us the story of Mordecai, a Jew, and Haman, one of the king's officials who had risen to a position of great honour. The Bible described Haman the Agagite as "the enemy of the Jews", a wicked man who harboured intense animosity towards Mordecai and the Jewish people. Haman, being wealthy, assured the king he would personally finance the operation of annihilating the Jews. He deceived the king into believing that the Jews were a threat to the kingdom's stability. However, by God's divine providence, Haman's evil plans ultimately backfired, and it was he, Haman, who eventually got hanged on the very gallows he had

_Mindfulness and discipline are powerful tools that, when combined, can lead to a more focused and fulfilling life. Mindfulness allows you to be present in the moment, fully aware of your thoughts, emotions, and actions without judgment. It helps you to understand yourself better, enabling you to make conscious choices rather than reacting impulsively. Discipline, on the other hand, is the commitment to follow through on those choices, even when it's difficult. It’s the bridge between your goals and their achievement. Together, mindfulness and discipline create a balanced approach to life, where you are not only aware of your intentions but also dedicated to realizing them. By cultivating these qualities, you can navigate challenges with clarity and purpose, leading to personal growth and a more meaningful life._ https://thekingsnation20.blogspot.com/2024/08/fresh-dew_28.html78

WEDNESDAY AUGUST 28 2024 SPIRITUAL OVERSIGHT AND STEWARDSHIP And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation (Luke 19:44). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  I want you to observe the word “visitation” in our theme scripture. Some have the idea that Jesus was talking about a mere “visit,” but that’s not it. That word is translated from the Greek "Episkope," which conveys the meaning of "bishoprick" (also spelt "bishopric") or the office of an overseer. An overseer has something to watch over and take care of.  This sheds light on the Lord’s statement. The Jews weren’t watchful, hence they missed the time of their visitation. It also brings to mind God's command to Adam to "dress and keep” the Garden of Eden (Genesis 2:15), signifying his responsibility to watch over and care for the garden.  Similarly, the Lord Jesus urged His

_Social anxiety is a challenge that many people face, but it's important to remember that it doesn't define who you are. Every step you take outside your comfort zone is a victory, no matter how small. It's okay to feel nervous in social situations; what matters is that you keep pushing forward. Remember that the people around you are often more focused on themselves than on judging you. Your worth isn't measured by how socially comfortable you are but by your courage in facing your fears. With time, patience, and practice, you can overcome this anxiety and find confidence in yourself. You're stronger than you think, and every day is an opportunity to grow. Keep going—you've got this!_ Click on the link below to study Previous Fresh Dew 👇👇👇 https://thekingsnation20.blogspot.com/2024/08/fresh-dew_26.html

You are where you are and what you are because of yourself. Everything you are today, or ever will be in the future, is up to you. Your life today is the sum total result of your choices, decisions and actions up to this point. You can write the script of your own life, and if you are not happy with the current script, you can rip it up and write a new one. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

TUESDAY, AUGUST 27TH 2024 HAVE NO FEAR OF DEATH The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death (1 Corinthians 15:26). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  There’s a distinction that I’d like you to observe in Paul’s expression in the theme verse. It’s the fact that he didn’t say, “The last enemy that shall be defeated is death.” Rather, he used the word “destroyed”; this is because death has been defeated, but not yet extirpated. Since this is the case, why then are many still afraid of death? Hebrews 2:14-15 provides a solution: "Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage." The Lord Jesus, through His vicarious death, rendered the devil (who once had the power of death) powerless, effectively abolishing his authority and ability to kill. So, Sat

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

MONDAY AUGUST 26TH 2024 EXTRICATED FROM DEATH …who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel (2 Timothy 1:10).  PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  The Bible records that in ancient times, humans lived for exceptionally long periods with lifespans exceeding 900 years. However, as sin increased, lifespans diminished. Genesis 6:3 says because of sin, man's lifespan was limited to 120 years. Moses, in his psalms, made an observation that due to sin, the typical lifespan of man was seventy years or eighty for those who were stronger. Even in old age, man’s life was filled with toil and sorrow, ultimately ending in death (Psalm 90:8-10). The Lord Jesus, however, came to address the root cause of this limitation, which is sin. Through His sacrifice, He provided salvation from sin and made eternal life possible. Eternal life includes “deathlessness.” When you were born again, you passed from death to life (John 5:24). Recall what we read in our theme scr
