 TUESDAY, 15TH AUGUST 2023 PASTOR CHRIS  LIVE AS ONE WHO HAS ETERNAL LIFE I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life (1 John 5:13 NIV).  The Apostle John’s emphasis in our opening verse above is for God’s people to “know” that they have eternal life. The word “know” is translated from the Greek word "eido" and it refers to having knowledge or awareness of something.  It signifies the understanding and certainty of the fact that you possess eternal life. Sadly, not many Christians know they have eternal life. So, they pray for it, some fast for it, and others hope to receive it.
