I am walking in the light as God is in the light, and my faith is producing results everyday. 👤 PASTOR CHRIS * MONDAY, 7TH FEBRUARY 2022 * TOPIC: WIN THE FIGHT ON YOUR KNEES (Keep Striving In Your Prayers For Other People) TO THE BIBLE: 📖 Colossians 4:12 “Epaphras, who is one of you, a bondservant of Christ, greets you, always laboring fervently for you in prayers, that you may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.” LET’S TALK 🗣️ The phrase translated “labouring fervently” in the scripture above is “agōnizomai” (Greek) from where we get the word “agonise.” In fact, the first synonym of this word is “to fight”; it also means to struggle or contend with an adversary. The same word is what’s in 1 Timothy 6:12 which says, “Fight the good fight of faith….” Now, Paul, by the Spirit, tells the Christians in Colossae that Epaphras was always “fighting” for them in prayers.
