Topic: “HIS KINGDOM IN MEN’S HEARTS”

Scripture 📖
Matthew 6:10

Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven

*THE MESSAGE*
In the prayer format that Jesus gave to His disciples in Matthew 6:9-13, they understood that the prayer was contextualized to a dispensational consideration. Therefore, following their writings, it’s clear what we should say in the light of what Jesus taught in prayer. For example, when He said, “Thy kingdom come…,” while the fulfilment for Israel will be at the millennial reign of Christ, and that the spiritual kingdom has come to us in Christ, and we pray to extend this kingdom to those who haven’t yet received it into their hearts. He desires to see the Kingdom expand in different nations.

Then He said, “…Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.” That’s a call of the Spirit for God’s will to be done in man’s world, because God’s will isn’t always done. But He’s sent us to bring forth His will to men everywhere; He sent us with a message. We know that when we go to them, the Kingdom has come to them! And when we pray for them, we’re praying the will of the Father; we’re praying that their hearts will be open to receive the Kingdom because the Bible does tell us that God opens the hearts of men. For example, it tells us about a woman named Lydia, “…whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul” (Acts 16:14).

If the Lord would open that woman’s heart, He can open anybody’s heart. And when God opens a man’s heart, the Kingdom comes into that heart. Hallelujah! _Through_ our prayers, God’s Spirit can prevail on men’s hearts, for the Bible says, “Ask ye of the LORD rain in the time of the latter rain; so the LORD shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field” (Zechariah 10:1).

The Spirit has been poured out, and every grass in the field has been touched by the Holy Spirit. Our role is to pray and speak forth the words of salvation, deliverance and liberty and bring men into the Kingdom, into union with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. And because the Father always hears and answers when we pray, it’ll be done by the power of the Holy Spirit. Glory to God!

CONFESSION 🗣️

I join my faith with God’s people around the world to speak forth salvation, deliverance, liberty, into the hearts of men, to bring them into the Kingdom, and into union with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Their hearts are open today to receive the Gospel and be born into the Kingdom, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

MONDAY AUGUST 26TH 2024 EXTRICATED FROM DEATH …who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel (2 Timothy 1:10).  PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  The Bible records that in ancient times, humans lived for exceptionally long periods with lifespans exceeding 900 years. However, as sin increased, lifespans diminished. Genesis 6:3 says because of sin, man's lifespan was limited to 120 years. Moses, in his psalms, made an observation that due to sin, the typical lifespan of man was seventy years or eighty for those who were stronger. Even in old age, man’s life was filled with toil and sorrow, ultimately ending in death (Psalm 90:8-10). The Lord Jesus, however, came to address the root cause of this limitation, which is sin. Through His sacrifice, He provided salvation from sin and made eternal life possible. Eternal life includes “deathlessness.” When you were born again, you passed from death to life (John 5:24). Recall what we read in our them...

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

MONDAY, 14TH JULY 2025 THE VIRGIN BIRTH CONFIRMS HIS DEITY   Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us  (Matthew 1:23). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME    When we say Jesus Christ is deity, we’re affirmingthat He is God. This claim is significant, especially when you consider that many around the world view Jesus merely as a prophet or a great teacher. While it may seem respectful for some to call Him a great prophet or a remarkable teacher, these assertions fall far short of His true identity.    That’s the reason it’s important to understand who He really is by first examining the miracle of His birth. TheBible describes His birth as extraordinary, something that had never occurred in all of history. Matthew 1:18 says, “Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with c...
