RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

SATURDAY, APRIL 26TH 2025 THE RECOGNITION OF HIS LORDSHIP For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10:13). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME. In our previous study, we reviewed the fact that our authority as Christians comes from heaven. We rule from heaven. However, the foundation of exercising this authority is rooted in our faith and relationship with Jesus Christ. The Name of Jesus is central to our salvation and divine authority. From the very moment you accepted Christ, the confession of His Lordship marked the beginning of your journey in Him. God’s people need to be taught and trained in the understanding of the Lordship of Jesus; He’s the Master of our lives. This means He has authority over your words, your thoughts, your choices and decisions, and every aspect of your existence. The most beautiful thing about this is that His Lordship over your life is one of love. We’re the objects of His great love. We yield to the lordship of His love. The Bible say...

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Dsc.Dsc.DD. 🔴Make up my mind to always be happy.  🔴Nobody is responsible for making you happy.  🔴That’s because Jesus already accomplished all that was needed to give me joy unspeakable and full of glory. So, You’ve got joy in your spirit!   🔴Always be excited about the things of God.  🔴Don’t wait for someone to make you happy.  🔴Having received salvation, joy comes from within you.  🔴The Bible says, “Joyfully you’ll pull up buckets of water from the wells of salvation. And as far you do it, you’ll say, “Give thanks to GOD…” (Isaiah 12:3-4 MSG).  🔴Happiness is a state of mind, and it’s one of the fruits of joy.  🔴Then you have other fruits of joy such as laughter, shouting, singing, and dancing. 🔴Do you know that giving is also one of the fruits of joy?  🔴When you’re full of joy, you give.  🔴Notice that when somebody asks you for something at the moment that you’re full of joy, it’s almost always a “Ye...

As a Christian, one thing you must know is that it's not really about how good or how skilled you are that will make you to be successful. it's all about God's grace and ability that will make you to be successful. There are some people that are not really skilled as others in the life, yet they are making it more than the people that are professionals in that same area. what is the reason, it's because of God's grace and ability at work in the lives of people that are making it. no matter how skilled and good you are, you won't go far by yourself. so stop depending on your own ability and wisdom. trust in God to help you become the best version of yourself. remember: the race is not to the swift, neither is the battle to the strong. it's not by power nor by might but by my spirit says the Lord..... click on the link below to study previous Daily Dew 👇👇👇 https://thekingsnation20.blogspot.com/2025/04/daily-dew.html

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

FRIDAY, APRIL 25TH 2025 WE RULE FROM HEAVEN Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment (Isaiah 32:1). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  As Christians, though we’re in the world, we’re not of this world. Our kingdom is heavenly, and we reign and rule from there. No wonder He tells us to set our affection on things above, on heavenly realities (Colossians 3:2). Think from heaven. Live from heaven. Rule from heaven. Your authority is derived from God’s Kingdom, which is superior to all earthly powers. This can be likened to the operation of a country’s military base stationed in a foreign land. Even though that military base is physically located outside its home country, it functions as an extension of its government, wielding the full authority and power of its homeland. Every action, directive, and purpose of the base reflects the instructions and vision of its home government. Likewise, we’re ambassadors of Christ, functioning with the power and jurisdi...

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Dsc.Dsc.DD. 🔴Being polite is not a sign of weakness, but an outworking of the excellence of God in you. 🔴In James 3:13-14, the Bible says, “Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth.” — In other words, when you use the right words to address others, you’re actually displaying the wisdom of God that’s in you.  — But bitterness in the heart of man will produce harsh words and abusive communication. 🔴Let your words reflect the presence of the Spirit of God that lives in you.  🔴Colossians 4:6 says, “Be gracious in your speech. The goal is to bring out the best in others in a conversation, not put them down, not cut them out” (MSG).  📖Colossians 4:6 AMPC “Let your speech at all times be gracious (pleasant and winsome), seasoned [as it were] with salt, [so that you may never...

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

THURSDAY, APRIL 24TH 2025 WHEN THE HOLY GHOST PRAYS THROUGH YOU But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost (Jude 1:20). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  Praying in the Spirit or praying in the Holy Ghost is twofold: there’s praying with your spirit, which is speaking in tongues, and praying through the power of the Holy Spirit. In our opening scripture, we’re instructed to pray through the power of the Holy Spirit. But in 1 Corinthians 14:14, Paul explains, “For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful.” This refers to praying with your spirit, speaking in tongues, as a means of engaging with God on a deeper, spiritual level. Then in Romans 8:26, we see another dimension of praying in the Spirit: “Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.” This is not...

𝐖𝐀𝐘𝐒 𝐓𝐎 𝐓𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐅𝐘

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Dsc.Dsc.DD. 🔴There’re three ways you testify:  1️⃣One is by declaring before the Lord Himself what He did for you.  🔴You count your blessings and testify of His goodness in your personal life; you’re conscious of, and thankful for, all He’s done for you, in you, and with you, affirming that they happened by His grace, mercy, faithfulness, and love that endure forever. 2️⃣Secondly, you testify with your offering.  🔴This is the part that not so many yet understand and practise: the power of the offering. It’s a testimony.  🔴When you give God your offering, it’s not a collection; it’s a hallowed oblation, with which you’re testifying that He’s God and not a man.  🔴With your offering, you’re testifying and giving glory to Him in your life. 🔴The Patriarchs—Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David, and his son Solomon—all gave offerings upon the altar in worship to God. Take Solomon, for example; 1 Kings 3:4 says, “…a thousand burnt offerings did Sol...

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 23RD 2025 SOMETIMES YOU NEED TO BE QUIET And Joshua had commanded the people, saying, Ye shall not shout, nor make any noise with your voice, neither shall any word proceed out of your mouth, until the day I bid you shout; then shall ye shout (Joshua 6:10). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME When God sent the children of Israel to bring down the walls of Jericho, He gave them the strategy. He said to them, “Go around Jericho once every day for seven days.” He also instructed them through Joshua to stay quiet. He didn’t want anyone doubting or asking, “Do you think these walls will fall down? They’re so thick!” No; He commanded absolute silence. From the time they left their homes until they returned, they were to say nothing for the first six days as they marched round Jericho. On the seventh day, they were to go around the city seven times, and on the seventh lap, the priests were to blow the trumpet, and after that, everyone was to shout! They did as God instructed, and though ...

Pastor Chris Highlights on The Resurrection of Jesus Christ and What it Means to Us Today is Easter - the commemoration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Someone that does not believe in the resurrection of Jesus Christ is not a Christian. Without the resurrection of Jesus there is no Christianity - no New Testament without the resurrection - no eternal life. The death of Jesus Christ did not give us eternal life. Romans 10:1-10 "Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they may be saved. 2. For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. 3. For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God. 4. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. 5. For Moses writes about the righteousness which is of the law, "The man who does those things shall live by them." 6. But the righteous...

MONDAY, APRIL 21TH 2025 THINK LIKE IT ALL DEPENDS ON YOU For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel (1 Corinthians 9:16). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  When it comes to the preaching of the Gospel in all the nations of the earth, you’ll have to approach it as though it depended on you alone to do it. That was the mentality Paul had and it’s worth emulating. When you have such a fire in your spirit, nothing can quench it. You’d say like Paul, “…necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!" Paul recognized the weight of responsibility placed on him and was determined to take the message to the entire world. Your positioning, thinking and mentality have to be the same. Don’t have the idea that "Oh, there are so many Christians, churches and ministries around the world; I hope they’re going to do something for the full preaching of the Gospel.” Instead, ask yo...

🔴 Today is Easter Sunday... but what does the Bible actually say? All over the world, Christians and non-Christians alike celebrate Easter — but very few understand what they’re truly celebrating. The word “Easter” appears only once in the entire Bible — Acts 12:4. And even that single appearance is misleading. In most translations of the Bible, the Greek word “Pascha” is translated correctly as Passover — a sacred Jewish celebration of divine judgment and deliverance. But in the King James Version, Acts 12:4 translates Pascha as Easter. Why? 🔴 The word "Easter" has pagan roots, not Christian ones. Easter comes from Ishtar, the name of a Babylonian fertility goddess. The timing of her worship coincided with spring festivals — and centuries later, it merged with the celebration of the resurrection of Christ. So, how did it gain such prominence? Though it appears only once in Scripture, that one mistranslation has now become a global title for one of Christianity’s holiest ev...
