πŸ”΄Being polite is not a sign of weakness, but an outworking of the excellence of God in you.

πŸ”΄In James 3:13-14, the Bible says, “Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth.”

— In other words, when you use the right words to address others, you’re actually displaying the wisdom of God that’s in you.

— But bitterness in the heart of man will produce harsh words and abusive communication.

πŸ”΄Let your words reflect the presence of the Spirit of God that lives in you.

πŸ”΄Colossians 4:6 says, “Be gracious in your speech. The goal is to bring out the best in others in a conversation, not put them down, not cut them out” (MSG).

πŸ“–Colossians 4:6 AMPC “Let your speech at all times be gracious (pleasant and winsome), seasoned [as it were] with salt, [so that you may never be at a loss] to know how you ought to answer anyone [who puts a question to you].”

πŸ”΄Let your words uplift, encourage, inspire, soothe and build.

πŸ”΄Speak graceful words.

πŸ”΄Don’t utter words that could inflict pain on others or stir up strife among people.

πŸ”΄The Bible says in 2 Timothy 2:24, “And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient.”

πŸ”΄See others with the eyes of God and address them that way.

πŸ”΄Be humble in your communication (James 4:6).

πŸ”΄Don’t use insulting words to address people and don’t raise your voice against them.

πŸ”΄Live the higher life of good communication, and you’ll see the hand of God move in your behalf.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

MONDAY AUGUST 26TH 2024 EXTRICATED FROM DEATH …who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel (2 Timothy 1:10).  PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  The Bible records that in ancient times, humans lived for exceptionally long periods with lifespans exceeding 900 years. However, as sin increased, lifespans diminished. Genesis 6:3 says because of sin, man's lifespan was limited to 120 years. Moses, in his psalms, made an observation that due to sin, the typical lifespan of man was seventy years or eighty for those who were stronger. Even in old age, man’s life was filled with toil and sorrow, ultimately ending in death (Psalm 90:8-10). The Lord Jesus, however, came to address the root cause of this limitation, which is sin. Through His sacrifice, He provided salvation from sin and made eternal life possible. Eternal life includes “deathlessness.” When you were born again, you passed from death to life (John 5:24). Recall what we read in our them...

🌨️RHAPSODY OF REALITIES🌨️

πŸ‘€PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Dsc.DD. πŸ—’️THURSDAY,20 JANUARY 2022πŸ—’️ ⏮️TOPIC: THE KINGDOM WAY OF LIFE  SCRIPTURE πŸ“– Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son (Colossians 1:13) πŸ“THE MESSAGEπŸ“ When you were born again, you were born into the Kingdom of God’s dear Son. Even though you now live and walk in His presence, you still have to learn how to live in this real Kingdom of Light, and the Scriptures will help you understand this by the power of the Holy Spirit. Paul writing to Timothy said: “But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God…” (1 Timothy 3:15). This means there’s a way to behave oneself in the house of God. Christianity isn’t a way of life, but it has a way of life. In this Kingdom, there’s a language; we have our communication protocols. There’s a way of life; we think differently. This is something the devil doesn’t want many to know. He wants...

#RealityCheck

The light of God is in you, in your spirit. You bear the perfections of Christ. Hallelujah! The Bible says, “For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ” (2 Corinthians 4:6). You’re truly the living tabernacle of God! Christ is alive in you. We are the last generation; the generation called to manifest His glory in the earth. This is what the earth has been waiting for. Romans 8:19 says, “For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.” We’re in office; we’ve taken our place of dominion, impacting our world with the glory of God.
