Eternal life isn’t just about living forever; it’s the God life in you; the organic and existential attributes of deity in you, which makes you taxonomically different from the natural man. This life makes you superior to Satan, sickness, disease, failure, and death. The Lord Jesus didn’t come to give us religion; He came to give us the God-life (John 10:10). In John 10:27-28, He said, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish....” When you have eternal life, you’re severed or separated from those who could perish.
