╔════════════════╗   *RHAPSODY OF REALITIES*     *FOR EARLY READERS* ╚════════════════╝ *👤PASTOR CHRIS* 5th September  *LIVE TO PLEASE THE LORD* ...Enoch walked with God three hundred years... *(Genesis 5:22)* Enoch was someone very special in the Bible. In Hebrews 11:5, we learn that before God took him to heaven, he had a testimony that he pleased God. That means he lived every day to please the Lord. What a beautiful thing to be known for! How did Enoch do this? He walked by faith. The Bible says that without faith, it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6). Faith means trusting what God says and choosing to act on it. As God’s child, you can live this way too. Be a doer of His Word (James 1:22). When you act on God’s Word every day, you’re pleasing the Lord. Jesus said, *“If you love Me, keep My commandments”* (John 14:15). So, choose to do what God’s Word says, and your life will make the Lord happy. *📖SCRIPTURE READING* *Hebrews 11:5* By ...

But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, ‘Lord, save me!’ And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, ‘O you of little faith, why did you doubt?’“_ *LET’S TALK* One night, the disciples of Jesus were in a boat, far out at sea, and suddenly, they saw someone walking towards them on the water. Terrified, they thought it was a ghost, but it turned out to be the Master Himself. One of them, Simon Peter, dared to say, *“Lord, if it’s you, ask me to come to you on the water.”* Interestingly, Jesus didn’t say, *“No! Walking on water requires lots of prayerfulness, boy!”* Rather, He spoke one word to Peter, *“Come!”* Peter jumped out of th...

His focus was undivided. He wasn’t trying to pursue many conflicting directions at once. His eyes were fixed on the mark, on the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. This was also the mindset of the Lord Jesus. Hebrews 12:2 tells us that for the joy set before Him, He endured the Cross and despised the shame. He had His eyes on the prize. In the midst of agony, rejection, humiliation, and suffering, He remained focused on the glorious outcome. He saw beyond the pain and fixed His gaze on the fulfilment ...

Jesus answered, *“Seventy times seven.”* That doesn’t mean you should start counting! It means you should always forgive. Forgiveness is something you do all the time. As God’s child, you can choose to forgive quickly and not stay angry. The Bible says we shouldn’t let the sun go down while we’re still angry (Ephesians 4:26). That means don’t stay upset for long. Even if someone makes the same mistake again, choose to forgive them again. Jesus forgave us, so we also forgive others (Colossians 3:13). Let His love in your heart help you forgive freely and gladly. *📖SCRIPTURE READING* *Mark ...

So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them—walking, leaping, and praising God.”_ *LET’S TALK* Engineers have long dreamed of creating a truly universal remote control that can operate every device regardless of brand, model, or age. _Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD_ _Thursday, September 3rd 2026_  *FELLOWSHIP WITH THE SPIRIT* _For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God_ *(Romans 8:14)* In our previous study, we made a very important point, which is the fact that the most important thing for anyone to do in this world is to discover God’s purpose and fulfil it. But sometimes, there are those who are already in the line of their calling in life, yet they don’t even know God chose them for it. They may not have enough understanding concerning God’s purpose for their lives, but they simply continue on the course life has presented to them.  To a certain extent, that may help, because they’re at least moving in a direction connected to their destiny. But in the journey of life, there’ll always be adversaries and adversities. The challenge is this: when obstacles arise, if you’re not connected with the One who knows what must be done to move beyond that point, your jour...

❗️YOU DON'T PRAY FOR YOUR 'NEEDS'. YOU ONLY ASK FOR THOSE THINGS YOU 'WANT'. 🔴 You don't *ask* for your needs. He told us already, "don't you know that my Father knows the things that you need?" He said the birds of the air, they don't ask for anything. He says your Father feeds them. He said you are of more value than many sparrows. 🔴 That means, for the things you NEED, you don't have to ask. He says your Father knows, which means the ones you are asking for are the additions, those things you like to have.  🔴 You see the reason now why some people say, “I have only been asking God for only 65,000.” 🔴 Imagine if you were asking God for only your house rent—you are selfish. > “Oh God, my house rent. I'm only at 150,000. Is my house rent. Oh God, give me 150,000.” 150,000. Is that all you're asking God for? The Bible says we have the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16). This means you can think pure, true, and right thoughts. An excellent mind doesn’t enjoy gossip or negative talk. Instead, it chooses words that are true and kind. To keep your mind pure and strong, keep filling your heart with God’s Word. His Word helps you think the right way. Also, an excellent mind gives its best in everything—at school, at home, and when helping others. Don’t say, *“It doesn’t matter.”* It does! When you think right and give your best, the Lord can...

Many young people speak negatively about themselves without realising it—about their intelligence, future, family, or abilities. That’s why the Lord Jesus said, *“…by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”* Interpreting the Master’s words literally means that a man will go to heaven or hell because of what he said or didn’t say. God always had a very clear agenda, a definite purpose for the world and universe He created and, in particular, a definite purpose for your life. When you study the Scriptures, you discover a remarkable consistency in God’s plan and an unmistakable clarity of purpose concerning His creation and your place in it. You’re not in this world to balance the ecosystem. There’s a reason you were born at such a time as this, in the place where you are, with the gifts, abilities and opportunities entrusted to you. *SOUL WINNING OUR CONSCIOUS LIFESTYLE*

And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:18). In Luke 19:10, Jesus said, “For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost” ; this is the summary of His mission on earth. Shortly before He ascended, He commissioned the Church to preach the Gospel to all men that they might receive eternal life. This is the ministry of reconciliation, which has been committed to our trust. Every Christian has a ministry to fulfil in soul winning; it’s our conscious lifestyle. We’re called to turn men to righteousness; to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God. You’re a missionary Christian, commissioned to spread the message of salvation in your world and to the regions beyond. We’re in the last days, and the Lord is doing a quick work; He’s working with and through His Church to make His righteousness known, and establish His Kingdom in ...

You must know what to do with the thoughts that come to your mind every day. Your victory or defeat often begins with the thoughts you choose to dwell on. That’s why the Spirit gives this instruction: *“be careful for nothing.”* The word *“careful”* is translated from the Greek *"merimnaō"*, which means to take thought. It’s the same word the Lord Jesus used in Matthew 6:25 when He said, *“… Take no thought for your life….”* It tells you something very important—you don’t have to accept every thought that comes to you.
