And Job spoke, and said: ‘May the day perish on which I was born, and the night in which it was said, “A male child is conceived.” May that day be darkness; may God above not seek it, nor the light shine upon it.’_ *LET’S TALK* Job was a man who had lived in great affluence because he was richly blessed of God. But imagine the terrible words he uttered when he got into trouble! This is just like some folks; when they face even a small problem—like failing a test or dealing with family drama—they forget so quickly all the good things God has done for them. Not only do they wallow in self-pity, but they also want everyone to feel sorry for them. If you read the whole chapter, it’s full of lamentation and self-pity. You’ve prayed, stood on the Word and applied the counsel given, yet nothing appears different. That’s the moment many are tempted to yield to discouragement. But that should never be your response; faith never gives up. The Bible tells us that Abraham, against hope, believed in hope. When there was no natural reason to expect a change, he held on to what God had said. That’s the life of faith. You don’t allow circumstances to sway you or cause you to vacillate; you anchor your confidence in the Word.  Never stagger at the Word of God through unbelief just because the change you seek didn’t seem to happen overnight. 🔴You may ask some people, “Do you believe in Jesus Christ?” and they’ll say, “Yes”; but surprisingly, they don’t go to church! Of course, they’ve got a lot of excuses. Some would say they just don’t believe in any church, while some others say there’re different kinds of churches and so, they don’t want to get confused.  🔴There’re also those who stopped going to church because they were offended.  🔴However, there can be no excuse good enough to justify not going to church.  🔴Fellowshipping with other believers is a crucial part of your walk with the Lord.
