*LIVE TO PLEASE THE LORD*

...Enoch walked with God three hundred years... *(Genesis 5:22)*

Enoch was someone very special in the Bible. In Hebrews 11:5, we learn that before God took him to heaven, he had a testimony that he pleased God. That means he lived every day to please the Lord. What a beautiful thing to be known for!

How did Enoch do this? He walked by faith. The Bible says that without faith, it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6). Faith means trusting what God says and choosing to act on it.

As God’s child, you can live this way too. Be a doer of His Word (James 1:22). When you act on God’s Word every day, you’re pleasing the Lord.

Jesus said, *“If you love Me, keep My commandments”* (John 14:15). So, choose to do what God’s Word says, and your life will make the Lord happy.

*📖SCRIPTURE READING*

*Hebrews 11:5* By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

*LET'S PRAY*
Dear merciful Father, thank you for helping me live by faith. I do your Word every day, and my life brings you joy, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

You served a Pastor, from cleaning his shoes and carrying his Bible to becoming his assistant pastor, now you have your work, you’re impacting your world and fulfilling your God-given purpose and destiny...  𝗗𝗶𝗱 𝗰𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂?   SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 16TH 2025 THE KINGDOM, THE FIELD, AND THE SEED Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field (Matthew 13:24). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Dsc. Dsc. DD. The Lord Jesus, in His remarkable teachings about the Kingdom, used parables to unveil profound truths. One of such examples is the parable of the wheat and tares in Matthew 13. He said, "...the kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field" (Matthew 13:24). That "man" is the Lord Himself, while the "good seed" represents the children of the Kingdom. The "field," as He later explained, is the world. This is extraordinary.
