For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us… *(Romans 8:26)* Have you ever wanted to pray but didn’t know what to say? Don’t worry—the Holy Spirit helps you pray. The Bible says He helps us when we don’t know what to say or how to pray as we should (Romans 8:26). Glory to God! Sometimes, you may want to pray for your friends who feel sad, sick, or too weak to pray for themselves. At such times, the Holy Spirit guides your heart and helps you pray the right way. If you’re praying for a friend to be saved or healed, remember that the Holy Spirit is working with you, and in you. You’re not alone. He gives you wisdom and boldness as you pray in tongues.  *📖SCRIPTURE READING* *Romans 8:26...

_Pastor Chris Oyakhilome_ _Saturday, September 19th 2026_ *FAITH IS A VERB* _(Act Like You’ve Already Received)_ *TO THE BIBLE:* *Hebrews 11:1* _“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”_ *LET’S TALK* Faith, the Bible says, is the substance of what you hoped for, and the title-deed of unseen realities. In other words, faith means that the things you were hoping for are now your present-hour possession. This is where the demonstration of faith comes to play. If it’s true that what you hoped for is now yours, then you ought to act that way. For example, you might have prayed to God for something concerning yourself, believing He’d do it.  If you truly believe that God heard your prayer, then you shouldn’t come back tomorrow and pray about the same thing again. You should now begin to act like someone who has received from God: that’s how to put your faith to work. That’s what Marcus’ Dad is saying in the opening conversation. ...

_Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD_ _Saturday, September 19th 2026_  *REVELATION OF DIVINE SUBSTITUTION* _For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him_ *(2 Corinthians 5:21)* The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the revelation of divine substitution. The Lord Jesus took your place so that you might take His place. This is the beauty, simplicity, and power of Christianity. God didn’t ask man to save himself or work his way into righteousness. Instead, He made the Lord Jesus the substitute for humanity.  Our opening scripture says, *“For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin....”* Then the concluding portion tells us the reason God did it: that we might be made the righteousness of God in Christ! Jesus never sinned, never came under Satan’s dominion. Yet, God made Him to be sin for us so that we might be made righteous. This is the great exchange.  Notice the language carefully. It doesn’t s...

🔴 Psalm 9, verse 17.  > “The wicked shall be turned into hell and all the nations that forget God.” ❗️Don't forget God. 🔴 The wicked is talking about there, I want you to understand, it's very different the way God sees people and the way human beings see people. 🔴 You would think,  > “Oh, the wicked, he means the one that's taking a gun and killing people. The one that, you know, that the natural man describes as the wicked.”  That's what you might think. 🔴 Then you see another nice guy and say, “This is a godly guy because he goes to church.” That's not the way God sees it. ❗️As far as God is concerned, the wicked are those who are given the Word of God and don't follow it. That's how He sees them. He calls them the wicked. Because they don't walk in love. 🔴 Let me show you something else. Hold this in your mind. Look at it.  > “The wicked shall be turned into hell and all the nations that forget God.” 🔴 Now, everyone who has...

_Life is a culmination of many small decisions. A mistake repeated more than thrice is a decision not a mistake. Refuse to associate your happiness with things or someone. You can't control someone loyalty. No matter how good you are to them, doesn't mean they'll treat you the same. Do not change your character in order to please them, do not contradict your principles to agree with them, do not pretend to please them._ _You have a fingerprint, live with what pleases the Lord. No matter how much they mean to you, doesn't mean they'll value you the same. You may be the only person left who believes in you, but it's enough. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm *(Mark 4:39)* Jesus and His disciples were once in a boat when a strong storm began. The wind blew hard, and the waves crashed into the boat. The disciples were afraid, but Jesus was asleep. When they woke Him, He spoke to the storm and said, *"Peace, be still!"* Immediately, the wind stopped, and the sea became calm (Mark 4:37-39). Jesus showed us how to respond to challenges---with faith, not fear. Instead of being afraid, you can speak God's Word and declare peace no matter the situation is. _Pastor Chris Oyakhilome_ _Friday, September 18th 2026_ *THE KINGDOM HAS COME* _(Manifest Heaven on Earth)_ *TO THE BIBLE:* *Luke 17:20-21* _"Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, 'The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, "See here!" or "See there!" For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.'"_ *LET’S TALK* In teaching the disciples how to pray, the Lord Jesus gave them a format; He said, *"In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come..."* (Matthew 6:9-10). He taught them to pray in expectation of the coming Kingdom of God because at the time, He hadn't died, and the world was being dominated by another kingdom, which is the kingdom of darkness. However, after His death, burial, and resurrection, when He met His disciples, His message to them changed. He said to them: *"All...

_Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD_ _Friday, September 18th 2026_  *SIN-FREE AND DEATH-FREE* _There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit, for the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death_ *(Romans 8:1-2)* The Christian life is one of absolute liberty in Christ. The moment you were born again, you were brought into a new realm of existence with dominion over sin and death. This is what the Apostle Paul unveils in Romans 8:1-2. Notice the distinction: The one who's in Christ no longer walks according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. Why? The answer is in the second verse: a new law is now at work in him--- *"the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus."* The law has made you free from death, and the law of sin. The expression *"made me free"* as used by the Apostle Paul is deeper than merely being delivered fro...

╔════════════════╗   *RHAPSODY OF REALITIES*     *FOR EARLY READERS* ╚════════════════╝ *👤PASTOR CHRIS* 17th September  *DO EVERYTHING FOR GOD'S GLORY* Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. *(Philippians 2:3)* God wants you to do everything with the right heart. You don’t need to do things just to be seen or praised by others. Instead, do everything to honour the Lord. In the Bible, the prophet Elijah challenged the prophets of Baal on Mount Carmel (1 Kings 18). They called on their false god, but nothing happened. When Elijah prayed, he said, *“...let it be known this day that you are God in Israel and I am your servant…”* (1 Kings 18:36). Then God answered him with fire! Elijah did it to honour God. Which would you pick? The Million Dollars or Wisdom? Are you still thinking which one to go for? The principal thing you need for success in life is divine wisdom. Yes. _Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD_ _Thursday, September 17th 2026_  *WE’RE REPLETE WITH HIM* _And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God_ *(Ephesians 3:19)* In our previous study, we made the very important point that being born of God, we’re as divine as the Lord Jesus is. If that weren’t true, then He failed in His mission. But blessed be God, He didn’t. He said, *“...I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly”* (John 10:10). That life is the very life and nature of God imparted to your spirit. You’re replete with God!   This is the reality many have never understood. They still think of Christianity from a distance, as though God merely helps us from heaven while we struggle through life as ordinary men. But that’s not the Gospel. The Gospel is that God brought you into oneness with Himself and filled you with His fullness.  The Apostle Paul unders...

Free yourself from the limitations of envy. 🔘Envy will cause you to live with frustrations and be struggling with dirty competition that's unnecessary. 🔘No Need To Be Envious Or Jealous Of Anyone. 🔘People become jealous and envious when they desire the other person’s success or advantage.  ☀️A good example in the Bible was King Saul who became envious of David, because of how the people praised him for defeating Goliath (1 Samuel 18:7).  ☀️And as a result of his envy, he tried to kill David (1 Samuel 19:10). 🔘When you see those who are doing well and are being praised for their work, be genuinely excited for them and rejoice with them!  🔘Rather than becoming envious or critical, look out for what you can learn from them to improve yourself.  🔘Don’t be threatened by the prosperity or success of others; be happy for them, and celebrate them the way you’d like to be celebrated. 📖Romans 12:15 Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep...

The quality of our day is often determined by what we feed our spirit first. God's Word is not just information, it is spiritual nourishment. When you spend time reading and meditating on Scripture, you are feeding your faith and strengthening your inner man.  Start your day by opening your Bible, listening for God's voice, and allowing His truth to shape your thoughts before the world shapes them for you.  _"Your words were found, and I ate them; and Your words were to me a joy and the rejoicing of my heart, for I am called by Your name, O Lord God of hosts."_ Jeremiah 15:16  ~ Pastor Chris

It’s not a system for moral improvement or an attempt to become better through human effort. Rather, it’s the outworking of a divine birth, an actual transformation that takes place in the human spirit when one receives Christ.  You need to fully understand what happened when you were born again. You didn’t merely join a church or adopt a new way of life; you were born of God’s Spirit. This wasn’t symbolic or figurative; He imparted divine life to you and made you a new creature with a new origin, a new nature, and a new identity. Your physical birth made you human, but the New Birth in Christ made you a partaker of the divine nature. We read in our opening scripture that we were born again, not of corruptible seed, but of inc...
