*DO EVERYTHING FOR GOD'S GLORY*

Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. *(Philippians 2:3)*

God wants you to do everything with the right heart. You don’t need to do things just to be seen or praised by others. Instead, do everything to honour the Lord.

In the Bible, the prophet Elijah challenged the prophets of Baal on Mount Carmel (1 Kings 18). They called on their false god, but nothing happened. When Elijah prayed, he said, *“...let it be known this day that you are God in Israel and I am your servant…”* (1 Kings 18:36). Then God answered him with fire! Elijah did it to honour God.

So, when you sing, help at home, or do well in school, do it for God’s glory. Stay humble, and let your actions show others how good God is.

*1 Kings 18:36* And it came to pass at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near, and said, Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known this day that thou art God in Israel, and that I am thy servant, and that I have done all these things at thy word.

Loving heavenly Father, thank you for helping me do everything for your glory. My thoughts, words, and actions honour you every day, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

You served a Pastor, from cleaning his shoes and carrying his Bible to becoming his assistant pastor, now you have your work, you’re impacting your world and fulfilling your God-given purpose and destiny... SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 16TH 2025 THE KINGDOM, THE FIELD, AND THE SEED Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field (Matthew 13:24). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Dsc. Dsc. DD. The Lord Jesus, in His remarkable teachings about the Kingdom, used parables to unveil profound truths. One of such examples is the parable of the wheat and tares in Matthew 13. He said, "...the kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field" (Matthew 13:24). That "man" is the Lord Himself, while the "good seed" represents the children of the Kingdom. The "field," as He later explained, is the world. This is extraordinary.
