𝗦𝗘𝗣𝗧𝗘𝗠𝗕𝗘𝗥 — 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗛 𝗢𝗙 𝗚𝗥𝗢𝗪𝗧𝗛
🔴 I want to read several scriptures to you concerning this month of September, and then we will take the Communion.
🔴Isaiah chapter 54 from verse 2:
> “Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations. Spare not; lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes.”
Verse 3:
> “For thou shalt break forth on thy right hand and on thy left, and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.”
✍️ I want you to notice in that third verse who He's talking to and who He's talking about.
> “For thou shalt break forth on thy right hand and on thy left, and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles.”
🔴 So, go to Galatians 3:16.
> “Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.”
Verse 29, same book, same chapter:
> “And if ye be Christ’s...”
🔴 Let's read this from the NIV, just because of the “Christ's” there, in case someone is not actually looking at the Scripture:
> “If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”

In the same NIV, can you look at verse 16?
> “The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed.”
❗️ The Scripture does not say unto seeds, meaning many people, but to your seed, meaning one person who is Christ.
🔴 Now, go back to what we read in Isaiah chapter 54 and verse 3:
> “For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left, and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles.”
❓️So who is the seed to inherit the Gentiles? Christ.
🔴 And if you belong to Christ, you are Abraham's seed. And so you inherit the Gentiles. Isn't that amazing?
𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗗 𝗢𝗙 𝗚𝗢𝗗 𝗜𝗡𝗖𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗘𝗦
🔴 All right. Now I want you to go to Acts chapter 6 and verse number 7:
> “And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.”
❗️The Word of God increased.
🔴 Chapter 12, book of Acts, verse 24:
> “But the word of God grew and multiplied.”
🔴 What happened here in chapter 12? Herod had persecuted the Church until he killed James, the brother of John, and went on to take Peter also, but God delivered Peter when the Church prayed. So there was so much hatred against the Church because the Bible says when Herod killed James, it pleased the Jews. There was so much hatred. But the Word of God grew and multiplied. Hallelujah!
Same book of Acts, go to chapter 19 and verse number 20:
> “So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.”
That's wonderful.
🔴 Colossians chapter 1, we're reading from verse 9 into verse 10:
> “For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God.”
Wonderful!
First Peter chapter 2 and verse number 2:
> “As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby.”
❗️Wow! So if I'm going to grow, I can desire the sincere milk of the Word and it will lead to growth. That's amazing.
𝗚𝗥𝗢𝗪𝗧𝗛 𝗜𝗡 𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗦
🔴 Then next, Ephesians chapter 4, and we're reading from verse 14 into verse 15:
> “That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; but speaking the truth in love may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ.”
❗️❗️Boy, I like this!
“Speaking the truth in love may grow up into him in all things.”
2 Peter 3:18:
> “But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.”
🙏 And everybody said, “Amen!”
🔴 The word translated “grow” there, and in the various verses that we read, referring to the ones we read in the Book of Acts and then the Pauline Epistles, the word is in the Greek, “oxano.” Oxano means, of course, grow. That's why it's translated grow, increase, enlarge, expand, become greater.
📌 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗛 𝗜𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗛 𝗢𝗙 𝗚𝗥𝗢𝗪𝗧𝗛
🔴 This month is the month of growth. And you will grow. You will increase. You will enlarge. You will expand and become greater by the power of the Holy Ghost.
❗️This is your blessing.
🔴 Let me show you two portions of the Bible to help you in a way that you can really appreciate what's happening by the Holy Spirit right now.
🔴So, the first part is in St. Luke's Gospel, chapter 1, in verse 80. It's talking about John the Baptist. He just, as a child, he says:
> “And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, and was in the deserts till the day of his shewing unto Israel.”
🔴 Another beautiful thing here is, this child was strong in spirit. Some people grow, but they don't wax strong in spirit. But this child grew and was strong in spirit. Hallelujah!
𝗚𝗥𝗢𝗪𝗧𝗛 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗪𝗜𝗦𝗗𝗢𝗠 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗘
🔴 There's another child with a very similar description. In the same book, St. Luke's Gospel, but this time in chapter 2 and verse number 40. Let's read again about this other child:
> “And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him.”
❗️There's a difference between this child and the other child.
🔴 That one grew and was strong in spirit and remained in the deserts till his showing unto Israel. That was John the Baptist.
🔴 But this other child, look. It says, “And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was upon him.”
🔴 Did you notice? It's not everyone that grows and becomes strong in spirit and gets filled with wisdom. After all, the first child we read of, the Bible doesn't say he was filled with wisdom. He was strong in spirit, all right, but wasn't filled with wisdom.
🔴 But this one was filled with wisdom. And then he says, “And the grace of God was upon him.”
The child grew.
🔴 There's more about this child, and I'd like to show it to you. He gives you His name finally. In verse 52, look at what it says:
> “And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.”
🔴 When you read between the two verses, you would observe that when it says the child grew, he hadn't grown to become a man. For he tells you what happened after he grew to a certain level.
🔴 So, as a boy, he was filled with wisdom—the wisdom that was necessary for a boy of his age. Most children grow to that level with less than the wisdom they require because of the fall of man. But this one was conceived of the Holy Ghost, born of a virgin, and was not a part of that fall. He was filled with wisdom—all the wisdom that was necessary.
“And Jesus increased in wisdom.”
❓️How could he increase in wisdom if he was already filled with wisdom?
🔴 He was filled to the capacity that he could accommodate. Imagine you have a cup and you fill it with water. It's full. Can't take anymore; it's a cup. And you bring a bucket that's larger than the cup. You can add more water until it's full. When it's full, it can't take any more.
🔴 So he had as much wisdom as was necessary for the time being. And then as he increased in stature, more wisdom. Did you see that?
> “And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.”
🔴 As a kid, the first part says the grace of God was upon him. As a boy, now he needs to deal directly with God. He needs to deal directly with humans. And so the Bible tells us he was in favour with God and man.
🔴 Now, being in favour with God and man doesn't mean that every human being will like you. Make no mistakes about that. Who knows better than Jesus about that one? They hated him not too long afterward. You can read all about that in St. John's Gospel, chapter 15.
He said, “They hated me without a cause.”
𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗕𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗜𝗦 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗚𝗢𝗗
🔴 I was sharing something with the brethren yesterday. Don't think that if you're wonderful, if you're in a great place, you're going to be like some people tell us, “Be balanced. Live a balanced life. Be balanced.”
🔴 What do they mean by being balanced? They say, if you're a teacher, you be a good teacher, a good father, a good neighbour, a good friend, a good brother, a good everything. And all these people will like you.
🔴 You can be good to your neighbour and your neighbour doesn't like you. Make no mistakes about it.
❗️He says, “Strive to be at peace with all men.” It doesn't mean that they will be at peace with you.
🔴 And if others don't like you or are not at peace with you, it doesn't mean something is wrong with you. So don't say, “Well, in my office, I've tried everything. I just want a balanced life.”
🔴 You want a balanced life? Your balance is with God. Don't balance it with men. They will not allow you to balance it. The more you try, the more they despise you for it.
🔴 Those who make up their minds, they're going to try to spoil things for you. But never, never be moved by that.
🔴 The one you need to please is not your neighbour. You can help him if he lets you help him. The one you need to please is Jesus Christ.
🔴 Jesus said they hated him without a cause. There was no reason. They don't listen. And he said, “If they have hated me, they will hate you also. If they have persecuted me, they will persecute you also.”
🔴 He said, “If you were of the world, the world would love his own. But because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hated you.”
Don't mind.
Just do what is right. That's what matters.
𝗚𝗥𝗢𝗪 𝗡𝗢𝗡-𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗣
❗️So this month is a month of growth.
I'm growing in everything. I'm increasing in everything. I'm walking in the blessing of Abraham.
If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed and heirs according to the promise.
Growth is my life.
I told you years ago, years ago, the Lord spoke to me and He just said it clearly to me. He said, “Son, keep growing.”
And I called it “License to Grow.”
Keep growing.
Everything about me grows. Everything. Everything about me grows. Doesn't matter what it is. It's just everything grows.
He told me, “Keep growing,” and He hasn't told me to stop. So I cannot but grow in everything.
And I extend that grace to you. I extend it to you.
Grow non-stop.
In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, grow non-stop.
It is your blessing.
Receive it with your spirit. Receive it with your spirit.
Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
