Never let your sense of morals prevent you from doing what is right. The doors of wisdom are never shut. What you’re supposed to do when you don’t like a thing is change it. If you can’t change it, change the way you think about it. Don’t complain. Too many people overvalue what they are not and undervalue what they are. Don’t waste your time with expectations: people only hear what they want to hear. Do unto others as you would have them do to you. I know the world is bruised and bleeding, and though it is important not to ignore its pain, it is also critical to refuse to succumb to its malevolence. Sometimes life’s going to hit you in the head with a brick. Don’t lose faith. The good you did yesterday will bring you happiness when you wake._
