TOPIC:HE MAKES YOU WILLING AND ABLE
(The Holy Spirit Is At Work In You)

TO  THE  BIBLE 📖

Philippians 2:12-13
“Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.”

LET’S  TALK 🗣️
The Word says, “...it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure” (Philippians 2:13). That means both the willingness and the drive to live a godly life and make your salvation effective come from the Lord. From the scripture above, it’s easy to tell that God in you is the Holy Spirit. Therefore, He’s working in you today, making you willing, ready, and able to do the Word.

As one who’s born again, the life of Christ is in you, but you have to let it be manifested to your world. You have to “work out” your salvation: that means act your salvation, put it to work, and make it evident for the world to see!
Now, you shouldn’t sit back and say, “I’m just going to wait until God makes me say or do something.”

No! He wants you to cooperate with the Holy Spirit as He carries out His ministry in you. He has a job to do in you; He’s called to go with you and work in you, but you have to let Him do His job by fellowshipping with Him.
The more you fellowship with Him, the more He’s able to guide and lead you in the will of God.

That’s when He can prompt you to act as He did with Ezekiel (Ezekiel 2:2; Ezekiel 3:24). He can cause you to get up and go somewhere, do or say something, and you’ll be aware He’s the one making you do it. He makes you willing, and He makes you perform! Recognise Him as the One at work in you today.

Pray 🙏
Dear Father, I thank you for the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit in me, and the fulfilment of His glorious ministry in my life. I have wisdom to do your will, and fulfil your destiny for me today because I’m counselled from within! I know what to do, when to do what to do, and how to do what to do, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 6TH 2025 LET THE GOSPEL BE YOUR PASSION For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth... (Romans 1:16). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Dsc. Dsc. DD. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of God to save, heal, deliver and transform lives. That’s why it must be a message you understand, live by, and burn with passion to share with others especially as the coming of the Lord draws nearer than we’ve ever known. Paul the Apostle declared that he was not ashamed of the Gospel. That statement came from a place of deep conviction and unwavering commitment. For him, preaching the Gospel wasn’t optional but life itself. He lived for the Gospel and was willing to die for its advancement. Read His inspiring and heart-stirring words in Acts 20:22-27, “And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there: Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying ...

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 16TH 2025 THE KINGDOM, THE FIELD, AND THE SEED Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field (Matthew 13:24). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Dsc. Dsc. DD. The Lord Jesus, in His remarkable teachings about the Kingdom, used parables to unveil profound truths. One of such examples is the parable of the wheat and tares in Matthew 13. He said, "...the kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field" (Matthew 13:24). That "man" is the Lord Himself, while the "good seed" represents the children of the Kingdom. The "field," as He later explained, is the world. This is extraordinary. The Lord sowed good seed, not in someone else's field, but in His own field. That tells you the world is His field and part of His Kingdom. It belongs to Him. No matter what we see in the world today, no matter how polluted it appears, the field still b...
