RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

THURSDAY, APRIL 17TH 2025 SERVE GOD RIGHTLY For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men (Romans 14:18). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  The Word of God shows us clearly what the message of Christ is and what your focus should be in serving the Lord. At the end of all things, what truly matters is what He thinks about your service in the Kingdom, not what others might think or say about you. His opinion is what truly counts. Is He pleased with your work?  It’s important to know that everything you’re doing is according to His will, purpose and desire. It’s not enough that you’re doing what you think or assume is right; it has to be what He wants and how He wants it. Recall what He said to Moses when he was about to build the Tabernacle, “…See…that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount” (Hebrews 8:5). Follow the prescribed order as revealed in His Word. If you’re sincere, He’ll open your heart, mind and unders...

MONDAY, APRIL 14TH 2025 BE CONSCIOUS OF HIS ABUNDANT GRACE For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ (Romans 5:17). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  The grace of Jesus Christ is a divine resource that every Christian must consciously take advantage of. The apostle Paul, writing to Timothy, instructed him to “...be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus” (2 Timothy 2:1). In other words, take advantage of His grace. How do you take advantage of His grace? It starts with you being conscious of His grace at work in you. As you step out of your home to work or to your other engagements, be fully aware that the grace of God is at work in you. This grace brings divine favour that works in your behalf, positions you for opportunities and ensures you stand out. However, there’s a key principle to remember: to continually experience favour working in your life, you m...

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Dsc.Dsc.DD. 🔴When things begin to look like you’ve been defeated, don’t be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you. What an assurance! 🔴A Pastor told a story of how God visited a certain man in a vision.  🔥As he and the Lord walked together, the Lord assured him “I am with you no matter how difficult the journey may be.”  🔥Though he couldn’t see the Lord, he could see the footprints.  🔥As they journeyed, there were two different footprints so, he was sure the Lord was with him. Every now and then, he looked and saw the Lord’s footprints, and kept going. 🔥At a point, things got tougher and harder. Then he looked, but this time saw only one footprint!  🔥He cried and said, “Lord, where are you? Things are worse here! How could you leave me now that I need you the most?”  🔥Then he heard the voice of God, “I’m still here.”  🔥But the man said, “No, I was seeing your footprints all along; but you’ve stopped. All I see no...

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

THURSDAY, APRIL 10TH 2025 HEAR AND HEED HIS WORD If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land (Isaiah 1:19). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  The original Hebrew word for "obedient" in the verse above is “shama,” which appears, specifically, 1,159 times in the Authorized Version. Notably, it is translated as "obedient" only eight times for contextual relevance. In fact, it is translated as "hear" 785 times and as "hearken" 169 times. The reason I emphasize this is that even in this instance, where the translators believed "obedient" would be the best presentation, it's not entirely accurate but still conveys a nice meaning.  The phrase "if ye be willing and obedient" essentially means “if you truly hear me.” This is why they chose "obedient"—it reflects the dynamics of asking a child, “Did you hear me?” This often occurs when an instruction hasn’t been followed. So, when you say, “If you hear what I’m...

PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Dsc.Dsc.DD. 🔴Man isn’t helpless and hopeless today; he isn’t without an intercessor.  🔥We’re the ones called to intercede and see to it that God’s purpose, His perfect will is fulfilled in the earth and in the lives of men.  🔥He gave us the power, the ability, and the responsibility. 📖Job 9:33 Neither is there any daysman betwixt us, that might lay his hand upon us both. — The verse above shows that there was a day and time that man needed a “daysman,” a mediator, and there wasn’t any.  — Job needed one and there was none.  — It reminds also of the words of Eli to his sons, in berating them for their atrocious acts. He said, “When you sin against a man, any man can come and intercede for you. But when you sin against God, who’ll entreat for you?” (Read 1 Samuel 2:25). — But thank God Jesus came! Isaiah 59:16 says, “And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; an...

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 9TH 2025 DEALING WISELY—A CRITICAL ASPECT OF SUCCESS This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success (Joshua 1:8). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  The Bible emphasizes the importance of dealing wisely, a principle that can change the trajectory of anyone’s life. This is something extraordinary that meditating on the Word does for you. The Amplified Classic version of our theme verse highlights this truth; it says through meditation, “...you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success” (Joshua 1:8 AMPC). This is a critical aspect of success. The Bible recounts how David, while living in the house of Saul, behaved himself wisely: “David acted wisely in all his ways and succeeded, and the Lord was with him” (1 Samuel 18:...

There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death (Proverbs 16:25). There’re Christians like that today who made certain choices for which others applauded them, but those choices led or would and could lead to their destruction. Therefore, I say to you: Don’t make carnal choices. See in the Spirit, with the Spirit, and through the Spirit. Let the Holy Spirit help you bring God’s dream that’s in your heart to pass. So, in making life’s choices, let it be with a heart of purity, a heart of righteousness—devoid of fleshly and selfish inclinations...... click on the link below to study previous Reality Check  👇👇👇 https://thekingsnation20.blogspot.com/2025/04/realitycheck_7.html

APRIL 2025 GLOBAL COMMUNION SERVICE

REV CHRIS OYAKHILOME DSC DSC DD (Documentary: Drugs of Doom) 3 John v 2 He is not even talking about healing or you getting healed. How important is your health? God wants you to prosper and to be IN health. That's God's plan.  Make a decision to live the life that he's given; to be healthy always.  They used to say "everybody gets sick". But sickness is not natural. God wants you well always. He wants you healthy always.  That's what Jesus gave to us. A life of health always.  Those who love to take drugs all the time, be careful. 1 Sam 17: 58- 18:1- David had just slain Goliath of Gath.  It's amazing how the word of God emphasizes for us the Love Jonathan had for David and vice versa.  Saul also ended up liking David and brought him into his home. Jonathan and David made a covenant.  Remember Jonathan was the Crown Prince of Israel.  V4-5: He removed his princely robe and gave it to David.  The story went on, until many years later when Sau...

MONDAY, APRIL 7TH 2025 THE BLESSING IS IN DOING THE WORD But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves (James 1:22). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  The manifestation of God's blessing is in doing His Word. The Word tells you who you are, what belongs to you, and how to live. Doing the Word means aligning your actions with its revelations about your identity, inheritance, and your place in Christ. It requires consistency and commitment, but the results are undeniable. James 1:23-25 says, “For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.”  As a young Christian, one of the most important commitments I made was to ensure there w...

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

SUNDAY APRIL 6TH 2025 AN UNCONDITIONAL INSTRUCTION Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee (Exodus 20:12). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  The Word of God provides clear instructions about the relationship between children and their parents. The apostle Paul in Ephesians 6:1-3 (AMPC) highlights the importance of children obeying and honouring their parents: “CHILDREN, OBEY your parents in the Lord [as His representatives], for this is just and right. Honour (esteem and value as precious) your father and your mother--this is the first commandment with a promise-- That all may be well with you and that you may live long on the earth.”  When you dishonour your parents, it affects your life negatively. Success may come, but it can be fleeting, with cycles of ups and downs, losses, and instability. It’s one of the reasons some people experience unexplainable instability, setbacks, and even premature death. So, do what th...

FRIDAY, APRIL 4TH 2025 THERE’S PROFIT IN ALL LABOUR In all labour there is profit: but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury (Proverbs 14:23). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  The opening verse draws a stark contrast between working hard, being diligent, and idle talk or laziness. The “idle talker” or lazy person tends to poverty. The term penury is synonymous with poverty, lack, want, or being broke. Proverbs 14:23 (CEV) says, “Hard work is worthwhile, but empty talk will make you poor.”  People who work hard receive something for their efforts; their labour produces results. But there are those who engage in endless chatter; they criticize everything. They know what the government, the governor, the mayor, and even the president ought to be doing. They have opinions on every subject, but do nothing themselves. The Bible is clear about such individuals: their mere talk, without the right actions, will lead to lack and poverty. Idle talkers may sound knowledgeable and convincing...

Don't let the opinions of others define your self-worth. You are so much more than what others think of you. You are a precious, valuable, and beloved individual, created for a purpose. As you navigate life's challenges, remember to be kind to yourself. Celebrate your successes, no matter how small they may seem. And when you stumble, don't be too hard on yourself. THURSDAY, APRIL 3RD 2025 HIS ULTIMATE PURPOSE And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one (John 17:22). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  When God made man, He wasn’t satisfied with man just looking like Him or functioning like Him. That was only the beginning. His ultimate goal was oneness with man. He created us to live in us and be inseparably one with us. The Lord Jesus said, “I am in the Father, and the Father is in me” (John 14:11). God has done the same with us and for us. This was His dream from the beginning. Colossians 1:26-27 says, “Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” 1 Corinthians 6:17 says, “But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.” This is more than a mere resemblance with the Lord. It’s like When Jesus sai...

The simple things are also the most extraordinary things, that's why most people miss it. Part of the reason for the way people turn out differently has to do with the values they develop for their lives and the way they see life and respond to life. Remember, you see life the way you are not as it is.  Nobody will make you happy until you 're happy with yourself first. Treat yourself well! If you don't like yourself, you can't make a success out of yourself and you can't like someone else because you can't give what you don't have. You can still be happy during the process of achieving something. Happiness is a choice not a result.  Don't allow your happiness to be dependent on  circumstances or on the reactions of other people towards you; refuse to be a slave to the thinkings of others. Don't put the key to your happiness in someone else's pocket; nobody can make you happy like you....... click on the link below to study previous Daily juice  ...

David said, “O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary. Because thy lovingkindness is better than life...” (Psalm 63:1-3). That should be your passion as a Christian: God must receive glory everywhere you are and everywhere you go. Even if others around you don’t think much about soul winning, be different. Be a burning and a shining light in your school or place of work or business. Let your light shine so brightly that men may see your good works and be provoked to righteousness. WEDNESDAY, APRIL 2ND 2025 GET A HOLD OF THE WORD In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made (John 1:1-3). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  Everything that God does is through the agency of His Word. This is a very fundamental and essential truth to always be conscious of. God’s Word is His creative material. From Genesis 1, we learn that God created everything through His Word. The Bible says, “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth” (Genesis 1:1). Then, verse 3 says, “And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.”  His Word brought order and life to what was a chaotic mass. Then, in John 1:1-3, the Bible declares, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that ...

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Dsc.Dsc.DD. 🔴From time to time, it’s important to review the way things have been going with you and determine the areas in which you’ve got to do things differently.  🔴You can’t do the same things you’ve been doing, in the same ways you’ve been doing them and expect different results. 🔴Even God at some point, said “I will do a new thing” (Isaiah 43:19).  ⭐He gave the Israelites strict laws to follow, which they couldn’t.  ⭐He thundered at Mount Sinai and they ran away from Him in fear!  ⭐Finally, He changed the order, and won us over with love: “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). 🔴So, get this straight today, if you want something different from what you’re experiencing now, you’ve got to take some radical steps and do things differently.  🔴Change the old way of thinking and employ new ideas.  🔴Perhaps at work...

TUESDAY, APRIL 1ST 2025 DIVINE LANGUAGE WITH HOLY GHOST ACCENT I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all (1 Corinthians 14:18). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  When we speak in tongues, we speak a unique and divine language that transcends nationalities, ethnicities and regional accents. You most likely can’t determine someone's land of nativity, country or cultural background by hearing them pray in tongues. Whether an individual is Indian, American, British, Chinese, or Nigerian, their prayers sound unified and distinct because when we speak in tongues, it’s a divine language with Holy Ghost accent. I once conducted a study on individuals praying in tongues from different parts of the world, and the results were phenomenal. I had participants record their prayers without any visual context—no pictures, no videos. As I listened to the audio recordings, I noticed something remarkable: it was impossible to determine where each individual was from or to identify their spe...

Rather, it focuses only on the results.  🔴The Lord Jesus, in Mark 11:23, said, “Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea!...

PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  As Christians, we’re never in the dark about anything. You can know anything if you’d do what the Scripture says. Our opening scripture in the Amplified Classic says, “For one who speaks in an [unknown] tongue speaks not to men but to God, for no one understands or catches his meaning, because in the [Holy] Spirit he utters secret truths and hidden things [not obvious to the understanding].” When you’re in a situation where you aren’t sure of the accurate direction or step to take, speak in tongues. PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  Moses had a revelation of God’s righteousness through the Law. His perspective as expressed in some portions of the book of Deuteronomy is profound. No wonder he marvelled at how extraordinary and unique the law was, declaring it unparalleled among the nations: "And what nation is there so great, that hath statutes and judgments so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day?" (Deuteronomy 4:8). In Deuteronomy 6:25, Moses’ heart was moved by the beauty of the Law. He did not see it as a burden of rules to obey but as a reflection of God's wonderful righteousness. He told the people that observing the commandments would be their righteousness: "And it shall b...
