1 Thessalonians 5:17 says "Pray without ceasing". God never tells us to do something we couldn’t do. Never take this spiritual admonition as an exaggeration; take the Word of God seriously. When you re-interpret such clear instructions of the Spirit, you weaken the meaning and then lose the power of it. Remember, the Church is the only restraining force against the evil manipulations and dictates of Satan. Through our prayers, we contend for the souls of men, and cancel the wicked plans of the devil, and establish the will of God in the earth. Always take advantage of the privilege, opportunity and blessings of prayer. When it’s time to pray, avoid all forms of distractions.
