HAVE YOU USED THE MIRROR? (The Mirror Principle Of God’s Word)

TO THE BIBLE:
2 Corinthians 3:18 AMPC
“And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another; [for this comes] from the Lord [Who is] the Spirit.”

LET’S TALK 🗣️
Some Christians have some difficulty believing and acting according to God’s Word because they think God reasons like a human person. But God isn’t like man; we’re the ones called to be like Him, to live and act like Him. He’s made this possible through the mirror principle of the Word. 2 Corinthians 3:18 typifies the Word of God as the mirror of God. James 1:23-24 also says anyone who hears the Word of God is like a man who sees his face in a mirror. In other words, God expects you to hear His Word and do what it says, but many still don’t know how to do the Word.
Now, the mirror principle of the Word is that you see yourself as what God sees you to be in His Word, and then, consequently, act. It’s that easy to do the Word! For example, in the Word, the mirror of God, He says, you’re a new creation in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:17). That’s God’s image and reflection of you. See that image and endorse it. Act like it’s true, because it’s true. Again, He shows you in the Word you’re the righteousness of God (2 Corinthians 5:21)—say and see it so. That’s His image of you.

Seeing yourself in the Word—the mirror of God—and acting accordingly is the way to live in the reality of your inheritance in Christ. That’s how to enjoy all that God has made available to you in Christ Jesus. I urge you to use your mirror today: keep studying and listening to the Word of God. As you do, you’ll be transfigured to become more and more like the glory you see in the Word. This is the mirror principle of the Word.

PRAY 🙏
Dear Father, I thank you because your Word is my life; therefore it’s natural for me to live in, and by the Word. Today, your Word is working mightily and producing results in me because I’m empowered to do what it says, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Testimony Of How I Got Born Again. REV TOM AMENKHIENAN. Pastor Chris Led Me To Salvation.

JESUS LOVES ME! HE HAD MY LIFE ALL PLANNED OUT. I was born into a Roman Catholic family setting, with a strong influence of the Roman Catholic culture running through the entire family because my maternal Grandparents had been very committed and recognized leaders in the Roman Catholic Church. I was baptized and confirmed at an early age and soon enlisted as an Altar Boy (Mass Server). At this early age, the Priests and Reverend Fathers in charge of our local assembly (mostly foreigners, especially from Ireland), deliberately sought to groom, tailor and mentor me in the direction of becoming a Roman Catholic Priest, encouraging me to attend the Seminary once I came of age. I grew up with this background and was indoctrinated in it until I had my first encounter with another Christian Group in my Secondary School days when a group from the Scripture Union organized a fellowship in our school and preached the gospel to me. I attended a few of their fellowship meetings and tried to ...

Pastor Biodun Lawal tells a story.

JESUS CALLED ME! My name is Pastor Biodun Lawal. I am the zonal pastor of Christ Embassy Accra, Ghana and I want to thank our man of God, our pastor, our coach and our father for the opportunity to share my salvation testimony with you. I title it Jesus Called Me. I was born and raised up in a Muslim house, my parents were Muslims. I was trained as a kid to go to Quranic School and on how to lead prayers in the mosque as well. I grew up as a Muslim learning the things that a young Muslim should do. As at that time, my parents had a lot of Christian friends and at the age of five my parents allow me to follow their friends children to church(Sunday school) and that was my first encounter with Christianity. All the things that we were taught at the Sunday school didn’t make sense to me then because I only followed the children to go and play. Then suddenly, my parents stopped me from attending the Sunday school because they had wanted me to focus on their religion which is Islam. T...
