BORN INTO THE GOD-CLASS (You’re Like Your Heavenly Father)

📖TO THE BIBLE
John 1:12-13
“But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

▶️LET’S TALK
This scripture holds one of the most powerful truths revealed to us in the gospels about the new creation. I urge you to take some time today and meditate on it. To be born again is to be born of God. It means to be born of the Spirit and the Word of God. It means to have the life, nature and character of God, to be born into His class of being.

From the very beginning, God determined to give us eternal life. We’re more than creatures living on the earth; we’re those in whom divinity dwells. He gave us eternal life to lift us to His class of being: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17).

If you’re born again, it means you’re in Christ, and if you’re in Christ, you’re a new creation—a new kind of person, existing in the God-class. That doesn’t mean you’re equal with God; it only means that you’re in His class. No wonder He calls us joint-heirs (Romans 8:17), and partakers of the divine nature (2 Peter 1:4). So, He remains your God and your heavenly Father; He is greater than you are, but then you can relate with Him at the same level as a child would relate with his father.

Since you were born in the image and likeness of God, His divine life has supplanted (completely replaced) your human life and brought you into God’s realm of life. The life in you now is Zoë—the God-life! It’s not susceptible to sickness, disease, failure, or death and could never be! You’ve been lifted to God’s class.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 6TH 2025 LET THE GOSPEL BE YOUR PASSION For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth... (Romans 1:16). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Dsc. Dsc. DD. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of God to save, heal, deliver and transform lives. That’s why it must be a message you understand, live by, and burn with passion to share with others especially as the coming of the Lord draws nearer than we’ve ever known. Paul the Apostle declared that he was not ashamed of the Gospel. That statement came from a place of deep conviction and unwavering commitment. For him, preaching the Gospel wasn’t optional but life itself. He lived for the Gospel and was willing to die for its advancement. Read His inspiring and heart-stirring words in Acts 20:22-27, “And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there: Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying ...

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 16TH 2025 THE KINGDOM, THE FIELD, AND THE SEED Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field (Matthew 13:24). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Dsc. Dsc. DD. The Lord Jesus, in His remarkable teachings about the Kingdom, used parables to unveil profound truths. One of such examples is the parable of the wheat and tares in Matthew 13. He said, "...the kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field" (Matthew 13:24). That "man" is the Lord Himself, while the "good seed" represents the children of the Kingdom. The "field," as He later explained, is the world. This is extraordinary. The Lord sowed good seed, not in someone else's field, but in His own field. That tells you the world is His field and part of His Kingdom. It belongs to Him. No matter what we see in the world today, no matter how polluted it appears, the field still b...
