EMPOWERED TO PROSPER - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

"Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when the heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit" (Jeremiah 17:7-8)

Oftentimes, Christians use certain words, not knowing exactly what they mean. For example, to some people, "God bless you" is a nice church greeting; that's all they think it is, but it's something really powerful if you understand what it means. To be blessed means to be empowered to prosper; that you're blessed means there's an empowerment on you for prosperity, excellence, victory, fruitfulness and productivity in every area of your life.

Now, because you're blessed, it's impossible for you to be defeated or disadvantaged; you're protected and preserved by the Lord. This doesn't mean you won't face challenges, but irrespective of the challenges or oppositions, you'll always win; where others fail, you win.

This is your life as a Christian. You've been empowered to prosper in all things and deal wisely in the affairs of life. This took effect when you received the Holy Spirit.

Even if you were placed in a desert or barren land, you'll still prosper; the desert will turn into a fruitful field, because you're the blessed of the Lord. Live every day with this consciousness.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

MONDAY AUGUST 26TH 2024 EXTRICATED FROM DEATH …who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel (2 Timothy 1:10).  PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  The Bible records that in ancient times, humans lived for exceptionally long periods with lifespans exceeding 900 years. However, as sin increased, lifespans diminished. Genesis 6:3 says because of sin, man's lifespan was limited to 120 years. Moses, in his psalms, made an observation that due to sin, the typical lifespan of man was seventy years or eighty for those who were stronger. Even in old age, man’s life was filled with toil and sorrow, ultimately ending in death (Psalm 90:8-10). The Lord Jesus, however, came to address the root cause of this limitation, which is sin. Through His sacrifice, He provided salvation from sin and made eternal life possible. Eternal life includes “deathlessness.” When you were born again, you passed from death to life (John 5:24). Recall what we read in our them...

🌨️RHAPSODY OF REALITIES🌨️

👤PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Dsc.DD. 🗒️THURSDAY,20 JANUARY 2022🗒️ ⏮️TOPIC: THE KINGDOM WAY OF LIFE  SCRIPTURE 📖 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son (Colossians 1:13) 📍THE MESSAGE📍 When you were born again, you were born into the Kingdom of God’s dear Son. Even though you now live and walk in His presence, you still have to learn how to live in this real Kingdom of Light, and the Scriptures will help you understand this by the power of the Holy Spirit. Paul writing to Timothy said: “But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God…” (1 Timothy 3:15). This means there’s a way to behave oneself in the house of God. Christianity isn’t a way of life, but it has a way of life. In this Kingdom, there’s a language; we have our communication protocols. There’s a way of life; we think differently. This is something the devil doesn’t want many to know. He wants...

#RealityCheck

The light of God is in you, in your spirit. You bear the perfections of Christ. Hallelujah! The Bible says, “For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ” (2 Corinthians 4:6). You’re truly the living tabernacle of God! Christ is alive in you. We are the last generation; the generation called to manifest His glory in the earth. This is what the earth has been waiting for. Romans 8:19 says, “For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.” We’re in office; we’ve taken our place of dominion, impacting our world with the glory of God.
