ICLC 2023, DAY 1

JUNE 8TH 2023

SUPER SESSION WITH PASTOR LANRE ALABI

TOPIC: THE STRATEGIC AND EXPANTIONIST CELL LEADER IN A DISPENSATION OF OPPORTUNITIES BUT URGENT TIMELINE STRATEGY

Having a plan that guarantees the best outcome of success and eliminates the chances of failure in spite of opposition whether known or unknown. To be an expansionist means someone who is looking for means and methods to spread.

As a strategic cell leader you must have a strategic outlook on how you carry out your cell ministry responsibilities.

EXCEPTIONALISM: Is the ideology and idea, the doctrine that we have been called uniquely with a defined and definite message for the world and the church of Christ. We have a calling to lead and blaze new trails in doctrine, music and arts, education, organization, administration, products and services I other words innovation. The message we have cannot be contained in one location, you can’t start in one place and remain in one place. This message is a message the whole worlds needs and it will provoke you to expand. When you understand Exceptionalism, Expansionism will follow. As a Cell Leaders you begin by understanding the exceptionality of our message. Ps 67:2 TLB The prayer of David is being answered by our message and in our generation.

As an expansionist cell leader you understand that your starting point is not your ending point, that’s your take off point.

DISPENSATION: An era. We are in the dispensation where the grace for salvation is like no other time. Understanding the dispensation will make you to act as you ought to act.  We are in a dispensation with opportunities, we have opportunities in the church age like no other. The opportunities are huge and the dispensation is right.

URGENCY: John 9:4 In all of these, there is an urgency so we have to work hard. Things may not always be as there are today, the opportunities may not always be there, because there is a time table, that’s why we must do all we should at the time allocated. John 4:34-35 You got to act fast and move fast. Don’t put off till tomorrow what you can do today. Luke 9:59-62 MSG What you can do today do it, you got to act like it’s going to be over tomorrow.

You have no choice as a cell leader than to be strategic, be expansionist, understand the dispensation we are in, to seize the opportunities and act fast.

5 POINTS THAT WILL HELP YOU IN THIS DIRECTION

1. You must have clarity of purpose.  Why are you a cell leader? Why are you doing what you’re doing? You got to have an understanding of the purpose, the one who knows the why will take more than the one who knows what and why? You must understand that predestination is at work in your life. God has called you to be a cell leader.      Eph 2:9-10 AMPC God arranged it. It’s part of His predestined plan for me. When you understand this then you will understand that the results that you get matter. It arranged your focus and your priorities. Predestination is at work in you, it makes your vision clear. And Pastor said when your vision is clear your way is clear. You will give attention to it. When the purpose is clear, there will be singleness of focus and determination. John 15:16, 1 Cor 9:26 TLB, AMPC You have been chosen. As a Cell Leader, you’re not just playing around, what you’re doing is connected to eternity. Your cell meetings are not ceremonials meetings. There is purpose in every step.   Every activity we carry out as a cell leader with clarity of purpose and singleness of focus must have impact.

2. Strategy of Followership. Learn to follow our man of God. Follow like one who is connected. You cannot follow a success and be a failure. If you follow our man of God you’ll proliferate, you will expand, you will be prolific. When we have our programs, you have to attend to those programs like a student. 1 Cor 11:1 When there is YLWS, you are listening, following with your Spirit, and you will find out that you have strategies, you will have the same grace functioning with you, you will have nothing short of the kind of success the Man of God is having on a global level

3. Strategic Trainer. What are you doing with your members? What is your vision for your members? One of the important vision you must have for your members is “Every tree a forest”. You must have a vision of your members being like you, your primary vision is to make them become like you and if that is going to happen, it means you are going to expose them to the things you are exposed to.

For YLWS, it is not enough to just announce it, members must be asked how they are going to participate and it must be followed up, this will help move the percentage of member’s participation in ministry program. The fastest way to grow your members is to expose them to Pastor, this is the best training you can give to your members. Give your members a culture of prayer, consciously bring prayers to them. Take it to their work places and their homes.  - Train them to be constantly filled with the spirit. - Train them to have a culture of the word. Find out how many of them read Rhapsody daily and how many follows the 1year bible study reading plan

4. Be A Strategic Gatherer.  We do a lot of work as Cell Leaders, but we must master gathering the harvest. Gen 30:40  Your members are winning souls everywhere but you must be strategizing gathering them and bringing them to church and turn them to a workforce.  5. Master the Cell System  You have got to know the message 2 Tim 2:15 TLB, MSG, AMPC.

Master your work, be a successful, masterful cell leader that is strategic, expansionist, understands the dispensation, the opportunities and is urgency.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

MONDAY AUGUST 26TH 2024 EXTRICATED FROM DEATH …who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel (2 Timothy 1:10).  PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  The Bible records that in ancient times, humans lived for exceptionally long periods with lifespans exceeding 900 years. However, as sin increased, lifespans diminished. Genesis 6:3 says because of sin, man's lifespan was limited to 120 years. Moses, in his psalms, made an observation that due to sin, the typical lifespan of man was seventy years or eighty for those who were stronger. Even in old age, man’s life was filled with toil and sorrow, ultimately ending in death (Psalm 90:8-10). The Lord Jesus, however, came to address the root cause of this limitation, which is sin. Through His sacrifice, He provided salvation from sin and made eternal life possible. Eternal life includes “deathlessness.” When you were born again, you passed from death to life (John 5:24). Recall what we read in our them...

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

MONDAY, 14TH JULY 2025 THE VIRGIN BIRTH CONFIRMS HIS DEITY   Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us  (Matthew 1:23). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME    When we say Jesus Christ is deity, we’re affirmingthat He is God. This claim is significant, especially when you consider that many around the world view Jesus merely as a prophet or a great teacher. While it may seem respectful for some to call Him a great prophet or a remarkable teacher, these assertions fall far short of His true identity.    That’s the reason it’s important to understand who He really is by first examining the miracle of His birth. TheBible describes His birth as extraordinary, something that had never occurred in all of history. Matthew 1:18 says, “Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with c...
