TOPIC: IT’S A GOOD LIFE!
(The Earth Is Filled With God’s Goodness)

TO THE BIBLE 📖
Psalm 23:5-6
“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”

LET’S TALK 🗣️
An insightful verse of the Bible says, “If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise” (Galatians 3:29 NIV).

You’re an heir of God; and if the earth belongs to Him, then it belongs to you too, since you’re a joint heir with Christ (Romans 8:16-17).

The Word says: “…In fact, everything is yours, including the world, life, death, the present, and the future.

Everything belongs to you, and you belong to Christ, and Christ belongs to God” (1 Corinthians 3:21-23 CEV). The world belongs to you; it’s yours to enjoy.

Now, Psalm 33:5 says “…The earth is full of the goodness of the Lord.” This is awesome! In spite of the terrible things we hear happening in the world, the earth is still full of God’s goodness!

Notice it doesn’t say, “The earth has God’s goodness,” but that it’s “…full of the goodness of the Lord.” The goodness of God in the earth is enough for everyone to enjoy.

Jesus emphasised this like this: “I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows)” (John 10:10 AMPC). He didn’t just come for us to have life but that we may enjoy it also.

Learn to enjoy what God has given you. If you don’t enjoy them, you can’t really appreciate them, and therefore, can’t be truly thankful.

Take advantage of your salvation and enjoy life to the full: Enjoy the clothes you wear, the food you eat, and the family and friends you have! Laugh more, make merry and celebrate God’s goodness and excellence in your life.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

MONDAY AUGUST 26TH 2024 EXTRICATED FROM DEATH …who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel (2 Timothy 1:10).  PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  The Bible records that in ancient times, humans lived for exceptionally long periods with lifespans exceeding 900 years. However, as sin increased, lifespans diminished. Genesis 6:3 says because of sin, man's lifespan was limited to 120 years. Moses, in his psalms, made an observation that due to sin, the typical lifespan of man was seventy years or eighty for those who were stronger. Even in old age, man’s life was filled with toil and sorrow, ultimately ending in death (Psalm 90:8-10). The Lord Jesus, however, came to address the root cause of this limitation, which is sin. Through His sacrifice, He provided salvation from sin and made eternal life possible. Eternal life includes “deathlessness.” When you were born again, you passed from death to life (John 5:24). Recall what we read in our them...

MONDAY, 14TH JULY 2025 THE VIRGIN BIRTH CONFIRMS HIS DEITY   Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us  (Matthew 1:23). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME    When we say Jesus Christ is deity, we’re affirmingthat He is God. This claim is significant, especially when you consider that many around the world view Jesus merely as a prophet or a great teacher. While it may seem respectful for some to call Him a great prophet or a remarkable teacher, these assertions fall far short of His true identity.    That’s the reason it’s important to understand who He really is by first examining the miracle of His birth. TheBible describes His birth as extraordinary, something that had never occurred in all of history. Matthew 1:18 says, “Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with c...
