TOPIC: “REIGN WITH POWER (All Things Are Under Your Dominion)”

SCRIPTURE 📖
Romans 5:17 RSV

“If, because of one man’s trespass, death reigned through that one man, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ.”

THE MESSAGE.
From the opening verse of scripture, Apostle Paul talks about reigning in the earth as a king, and this life of reigning can only be experienced when one has received the gift of righteousness. Righteousness is the nature of God; it’s the rightness of God in the human spirit. It is the ability in the human spirit to do right. It gives you the ability to stand in the presence of God without a sense of guilt, inferiority, or condemnation.

Revelation 5:10 says the Lord Jesus has “…made us kings and priests to our God; and we shall reign on the earth.” Also, Ecclesiastes 8:4 says, “Where the word of a king is, there is power….” You’re a king; your word has power. The Word in your mouth—against all odds and adverse circumstances—will surely prevail. When you command fear, sickness, failure or lack to go, they’ve all got to comply. So, if you’re ever attacked by sickness, refuse to fear; call it by its name and command it to go, and it has to!

Maybe you’re preparing for your school examinations, and there’s this class subject you don’t quite grasp when you study it, and the examination is fast approaching; don’t give up or chicken out! Release the Word of God from your mouth and effect a change!

You can reign as a king, and the words released from your mouth have power (Ecclesiastes 8:4). Remember, Mark 11:23 says you shall have what you say. Be bold to declare words of faith. By virtue of your righteousness in Christ Jesus, you can confront any and every situation with boldness without any fear. Glory to God!

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

MONDAY AUGUST 26TH 2024 EXTRICATED FROM DEATH …who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel (2 Timothy 1:10).  PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  The Bible records that in ancient times, humans lived for exceptionally long periods with lifespans exceeding 900 years. However, as sin increased, lifespans diminished. Genesis 6:3 says because of sin, man's lifespan was limited to 120 years. Moses, in his psalms, made an observation that due to sin, the typical lifespan of man was seventy years or eighty for those who were stronger. Even in old age, man’s life was filled with toil and sorrow, ultimately ending in death (Psalm 90:8-10). The Lord Jesus, however, came to address the root cause of this limitation, which is sin. Through His sacrifice, He provided salvation from sin and made eternal life possible. Eternal life includes “deathlessness.” When you were born again, you passed from death to life (John 5:24). Recall what we read in our them...

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

MONDAY, 14TH JULY 2025 THE VIRGIN BIRTH CONFIRMS HIS DEITY   Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us  (Matthew 1:23). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME    When we say Jesus Christ is deity, we’re affirmingthat He is God. This claim is significant, especially when you consider that many around the world view Jesus merely as a prophet or a great teacher. While it may seem respectful for some to call Him a great prophet or a remarkable teacher, these assertions fall far short of His true identity.    That’s the reason it’s important to understand who He really is by first examining the miracle of His birth. TheBible describes His birth as extraordinary, something that had never occurred in all of history. Matthew 1:18 says, “Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with c...
