Pastor Chris

GO FORTH AND PROSPER! (Your Prosperity Is Up To You)

📖TO THE BIBLE
Joshua 1:8  “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”

▶️LET’S TALK
God wants you to prosper in every area of your life because He delights in the prosperity of His children (Psalm 35:27). In 3 John 1:2, God expresses His wish above all things that you prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers. 2 Peter 1:3 shows that He has given you “...all things that pertain to life and godliness....” This means in Christ you’ve come to a rich inheritance, a place of absolute prosperity. When you received Christ, you were automatically catapulted into a glorious realm of prosperity and became not just an heir of God but a joint heir with Christ (Romans 8:17).
When you meditate on the scriptures, your spirit becomes so seasoned with the Word that you can’t but think, talk, and live the Word. Through meditation, you’re mingled with the Word as it were. The Bible shows this in Joshua 1:8 as the way to attain the prosperity God ordained for you. So, not only is the Lord interested in your prosperity, but He also shows you how to make your way prosperous—by meditating on His Word and observing to do what it says. And this is all-around prosperity—in every aspect of your life.

The Apostle Paul said it as well in 1 Timothy 4:15: “Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all.” When you meditate on God’s Word, your progress, advancement, prosperity, and success will spread abroad and be evident for all to see. To prosper in all you do—in your family, health, academics, etc—get God’s Word and continually meditate on it.

Psalm 23:1; Psalm 35:27

🗣 PRAY
Heavenly Father, I thank you for the great inheritance that you’ve made available to me. As I study and meditate on your Word constantly, I make my way prosperous, and my success and prosperity are evident, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 6TH 2025 LET THE GOSPEL BE YOUR PASSION For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth... (Romans 1:16). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Dsc. Dsc. DD. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of God to save, heal, deliver and transform lives. That’s why it must be a message you understand, live by, and burn with passion to share with others especially as the coming of the Lord draws nearer than we’ve ever known. Paul the Apostle declared that he was not ashamed of the Gospel. That statement came from a place of deep conviction and unwavering commitment. For him, preaching the Gospel wasn’t optional but life itself. He lived for the Gospel and was willing to die for its advancement. Read His inspiring and heart-stirring words in Acts 20:22-27, “And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there: Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying ...

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 16TH 2025 THE KINGDOM, THE FIELD, AND THE SEED Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field (Matthew 13:24). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Dsc. Dsc. DD. The Lord Jesus, in His remarkable teachings about the Kingdom, used parables to unveil profound truths. One of such examples is the parable of the wheat and tares in Matthew 13. He said, "...the kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field" (Matthew 13:24). That "man" is the Lord Himself, while the "good seed" represents the children of the Kingdom. The "field," as He later explained, is the world. This is extraordinary. The Lord sowed good seed, not in someone else's field, but in His own field. That tells you the world is His field and part of His Kingdom. It belongs to Him. No matter what we see in the world today, no matter how polluted it appears, the field still b...
