(Play Your Role As A Praying Priest)

TO THE BIBLE 📖: 

Psalm 149:6-7
“Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand, to execute vengeance on the nations….”

LET’S TALK 🗣️

“It’s been three days now since Angela’s been in her room praying; how can someone just spend this entirely nice holiday just praying? Why not go to the beach or the mall?” Morris, Angela’s younger brother, snickered.

“Hey Morris, don’t joke about what she’s doing!” Stan, Morris’ elder brother, corrected. “With all the evil that’s been happening in our world, she wants a change and what better way to have that than through intercession! Rather than ridicule her, we ought to join her in causing changes too.”

The bad decisions and choices made by today’s world leaders have brought about untold hardships experienced around the world today.

However, in the Scriptures, you’d observe these things were foretold a long time ago, and today they are being hatched by satanic powers: the plans for a one-world government, one-world economy, and one-world religion were all foretold in the Bible.

The Bible says: “…Truth is nowhere to be found, and whoever shuns evil becomes a prey. The LORD looked and was displeased that there was no justice. He saw that there was no one, he was appalled that there was no one to intervene; so his own arm worked salvation for him, and his own righteousness sustained him” (Isaiah 59:15-16 NIV).

The phrase, “no one to intervene” actually means “…there was no intercessor….” Can you see why you must take your place as a praying-priest and intercessor?

You’re the one to establish His reign and righteousness in the earth and in the hearts of men. That’s your role today as a Christian. Don’t just sit idly by and watch these vicious destructions and chaos continue unabated.

Take a stand in prayer and say “no!” to the havoc, mayhem, destruction, chaos, and turmoil the devil is unleashing in the world!

Intercede passionately for the world’s leaders, Presidents, and Prime Ministers, that their hearts and minds be guided away from the devil’s manipulation, and that they always make right choices concerning their people.

It could take days, weeks or even months before you see the change that you require, but don’t stop; keep praying, because you’re causing a “shifting” in the realm of the Spirit; things are changing in the direction of God’s will for this world as you pray. Glory to God!

Righteous Father, the authorities that exist today were ordained of you; therefore, I pray that their minds are protected from wrong counsel and judgement, and that the wisdom of God be granted them, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

  SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 16TH 2025 THE KINGDOM, THE FIELD, AND THE SEED Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field (Matthew 13:24). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Dsc. Dsc. DD. The Lord Jesus, in His remarkable teachings about the Kingdom, used parables to unveil profound truths. One of such examples is the parable of the wheat and tares in Matthew 13. He said, "...the kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field" (Matthew 13:24). That "man" is the Lord Himself, while the "good seed" represents the children of the Kingdom. The "field," as He later explained, is the world. This is extraordinary.
