BE A PARTNER WITH THE LORD (Partnership – God’s Way o Setting You Up for Greater Blessings)

📖TO THE BIBLE
Philippians 4:15 CEV
“My friends at Philippi, you remember what it was like when I started preaching the good news in Macedonia. After I left there, you were the only church that became my partner by giving blessings and by receiving them in return.”

▶️LET’S TALK
The Bible tells us about a certain widow in Zarephath who was poor and had nothing, yet the Lord commanded her to take care of the prophet Elijah during the period of famine. Before meeting her, Elijah was being fed supernaturally by ravens that regularly brought him food, and he also drank from a brook (1 Kings 17:4). However, the brook dried up and the ravens stopped bringing him food. Then, God commanded him to go to the widow. By feeding the Prophet Elijah, the widow received her miracle: “So she went away and did according to the word of Elijah; and she and he and her household ate for many days. The bin of flour was not used up, nor did the jar of oil run dry, according to the word of the Lord which He spoke by Elijah” (1 Kings 17:15-16).

Every opportunity you have to give to God is His way of setting you up for greater blessings. God doesn’t ask you to give because He wants something from you, but because He’s got something greater in store for you. Some have gotten frustrated and given up on giving because they had, at one time, given their time and resources to the Lord and the work of the ministry without any immediate result, and to them, it seemed the circumstances of their lives wouldn’t improve if they continued. If only they knew that through their constant giving, God was setting them up for a greater and more glorious future, they would rejoice!

Not only did the Lord take care of the widow’s immediate needs after she fed the prophet, but He also took care of her future (Read 1 Kings 17:17-23). Never allow anything to stop you or discourage you from giving to the things of the Kingdom. Partner with the Lord big-time by investing your time and resources in world evangelism and you’d be glad you did.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 6TH 2025 LET THE GOSPEL BE YOUR PASSION For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth... (Romans 1:16). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Dsc. Dsc. DD. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of God to save, heal, deliver and transform lives. That’s why it must be a message you understand, live by, and burn with passion to share with others especially as the coming of the Lord draws nearer than we’ve ever known. Paul the Apostle declared that he was not ashamed of the Gospel. That statement came from a place of deep conviction and unwavering commitment. For him, preaching the Gospel wasn’t optional but life itself. He lived for the Gospel and was willing to die for its advancement. Read His inspiring and heart-stirring words in Acts 20:22-27, “And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there: Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying ...

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 16TH 2025 THE KINGDOM, THE FIELD, AND THE SEED Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field (Matthew 13:24). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Dsc. Dsc. DD. The Lord Jesus, in His remarkable teachings about the Kingdom, used parables to unveil profound truths. One of such examples is the parable of the wheat and tares in Matthew 13. He said, "...the kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field" (Matthew 13:24). That "man" is the Lord Himself, while the "good seed" represents the children of the Kingdom. The "field," as He later explained, is the world. This is extraordinary. The Lord sowed good seed, not in someone else's field, but in His own field. That tells you the world is His field and part of His Kingdom. It belongs to Him. No matter what we see in the world today, no matter how polluted it appears, the field still b...
