LET’S TALK

As a child of God, you must be passionate about soul-winning; it must be a burning desire in your heart to take the Gospel to the lost. You’re the custodian of the Gospel, and it’s your divine responsibility to publish it around the world.

When you’re absolutely convinced that Jesus is the only way, you’ll stand up for the Gospel. The Apostle Paul in Acts 13:38-39 said, “Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through this Man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins; and by Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.” There is no option to the Gospel.

No wonder David said, “Send us around the world with the news of your saving power...” (Psalm 67:2 TLB). In David’s day, the Gospel hadn’t come, and the redemptive work of Christ hadn’t been consummated, but he had insight into the revelation of Christ the Messiah. But Christ has since come; He has since died and has risen, and now lives in our hearts, Hallelujah!

No Christian is left out of the instruction to preach the Gospel. It should be your passion! Fuel your passion for the Gospel. Keep preaching and talking to others about Jesus. Stay inspired by associating closely with others who are also fired up in their spirits for the Gospel, and intercede in prayer for the lost who are yet to hear the Word of salvation.

MONDAY AUGUST 26TH 2024 EXTRICATED FROM DEATH …who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel (2 Timothy 1:10). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME The Bible records that in ancient times, humans lived for exceptionally long periods with lifespans exceeding 900 years. However, as sin increased, lifespans diminished. Genesis 6:3 says because of sin, man's lifespan was limited to 120 years. Moses, in his psalms, made an observation that due to sin, the typical lifespan of man was seventy years or eighty for those who were stronger. Even in old age, man’s life was filled with toil and sorrow, ultimately ending in death (Psalm 90:8-10). The Lord Jesus, however, came to address the root cause of this limitation, which is sin. PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME The Gospel of Jesus Christ that we preach is a message that truly works. It’s a message that produces undeniable results for everyone who believes it. It’s the reason you must be quick and bold to share it with others. I remember talking to a man who had a very severe heart condition. The doctors had diagnosed him with heart failure and said he needed a transplant. But as I shared the Gospel with him, I said, “While I’m talking with you, there’ll be a change in your heart. All you have to do is believe what I’m telling you; just believe and give me a few minutes of your attention.” He agreed. So, I kept talking to him, sharing with him the words of life. After about 15 minutes, I said to him, “It’s done.” And he replied, “Yes; it’s done.” The next test conducted on him ...
