πŸ”΄Did you know that your talk is your future?

πŸ”΄Every human person is the character of his or her words.

πŸ”΄Who you are today, what you’ve become, is the result of your words. That’s the reason you must mind your language and train yourself to talk right.

πŸ”΄People learn their language, especially unwholesome communication, from the world around them.

πŸ”΄Someone who consistently says about his job, “This job is killing me,” probably picked it up from other colleagues or friends at work. They may think it’s fashionable to talk that way, but what they don’t realize is that death and life are in the power of the tongue.

πŸ“–Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

πŸ”΄As a Christian, you must talk differently.

πŸ”΄Never speak death.

πŸ”΄Speak life always.

πŸ”΄Learn and speak the language of the Word.

πŸ”΄The one who keeps saying, “This job is killing me,” will probably end up crippled with a stroke or other ailment at sixty or sixty-five, his condition being the result of his negative confessions through the years, having taken their toll.

πŸ”΄Don’t use the vain and base language of men; like the fellow who always says, “I’m afraid!” “I’m afraid it’s going to rain!” “I’m afraid I may not be able to make it to your house!” Do you have to be afraid it’s going to rain? When you talk like that, fear rises up like a giant and keeps you in bondage.

πŸ”΄Don’t say, “My stomach pain has returned”; it’s not your stomach pain!

πŸ”΄Stomach pain isn’t from God, so don’t make it your possession.

πŸ”΄The only things we speak are those things given to us by God, in the language that God has given us.

πŸ“–1 Corinthians 2:12-13 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual

πŸ”΄Jesus said, “For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak” (John 12:49).

πŸ”΄When Jesus said, “I have not spoken of myself,” He meant He wasn’t speaking for Himself. In other words, He didn’t originate the things He spoke. Everything He said came from the Father.

πŸ”΄In Christianity, we don’t speak of ourselves or from ourselves; we speak the Word; words of the Kingdom. Glory to God!

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

MONDAY AUGUST 26TH 2024 EXTRICATED FROM DEATH …who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel (2 Timothy 1:10).  PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  The Bible records that in ancient times, humans lived for exceptionally long periods with lifespans exceeding 900 years. However, as sin increased, lifespans diminished. Genesis 6:3 says because of sin, man's lifespan was limited to 120 years. Moses, in his psalms, made an observation that due to sin, the typical lifespan of man was seventy years or eighty for those who were stronger. Even in old age, man’s life was filled with toil and sorrow, ultimately ending in death (Psalm 90:8-10). The Lord Jesus, however, came to address the root cause of this limitation, which is sin. Through His sacrifice, He provided salvation from sin and made eternal life possible. Eternal life includes “deathlessness.” When you were born again, you passed from death to life (John 5:24). Recall what we read in our them...

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

TUESDAY, JULY 1ST 2025 CUSTODIANS OF A MESSAGE THAT WORKS For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth... (Romans 1:16). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  The Gospel of Jesus Christ that we preach is a message that truly works. It’s a message that produces undeniable results for everyone who believes it. It’s the reason you must be quick and bold to share it with others. I remember talking to a man who had a very severe heart condition. The doctors had diagnosed him with heart failure and said he needed a transplant. But as I shared the Gospel with him, I said, “While I’m talking with you, there’ll be a change in your heart. All you have to do is believe what I’m telling you; just believe and give me a few minutes of your attention.” He agreed. So, I kept talking to him, sharing with him the words of life. After about 15 minutes, I said to him, “It’s done.” And he replied, “Yes; it’s done.” The next test conducted on him ...
