𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐏𝐑𝐀𝐈𝐒𝐄 𝐈𝐒 𝐀 𝐖𝐄𝐀𝐏𝐎𝐍

🔵Our praise is a weapon against the adversary.

🔵Recall what happened with Jehoshaphat: three enemy nations allied against Judah. But Jehoshaphat organised with the people and put the singers in front of the army.

📖2 Chronicles 20:21-22 AMPC When he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers to sing to the Lord and praise Him in their holy [priestly] garments as they went out before the army, saying, Give thanks to the Lord, for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever! And when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushments against the men of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir who had come against Judah, and they were [self-] slaughtered.

🔥That’s the power of sanctified praise.

✅There are battles you win with praise.

🔵In the New Testament, we’re the circumcision that worship God in the

Spirit, rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh (Philippians 3:3).

🔵We are the ones He’s sanctified to offer Him true worship.

🔵It’s the reason we can worship Him in spirit and in truth.

📖1 Peter 2:9 says, “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.”

🔥That’s our calling right there: it’s to a life of praise.

🔥We’re sanctified to praise the Lord.

MONDAY AUGUST 26TH 2024 EXTRICATED FROM DEATH …who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel (2 Timothy 1:10). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME The Bible records that in ancient times, humans lived for exceptionally long periods with lifespans exceeding 900 years. However, as sin increased, lifespans diminished. Genesis 6:3 says because of sin, man's lifespan was limited to 120 years. Moses, in his psalms, made an observation that due to sin, the typical lifespan of man was seventy years or eighty for those who were stronger. Even in old age, man’s life was filled with toil and sorrow, ultimately ending in death (Psalm 90:8-10). The Lord Jesus, however, came to address the root cause of this limitation, which is sin. Through His sacrifice, He provided salvation from sin and made eternal life possible. Eternal life includes “deathlessness.” When you were born again, you passed from death to life (John 5:24).
