πŸ”΄Some Christians think they should only go to church when it’s convenient.

πŸ”΄They believe God is everywhere, so you don’t necessarily have to go to church to serve or worship Him.

πŸ”΄It’s not right.

πŸ”΄The scriptures expresses the importance of going to church.

πŸ”΄It chides those who don’t and admonishes us not to be like them.

πŸ“–Hebrews 10:24-25 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

πŸ“–Psalm 133:1-3 Behold, how good and how pleasant [it is] for brethren to dwell together in unity! 2 [It is] like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, [even] Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; 3 As the dew of Hermon, [and as the dew] that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, [even] life for evermore.

πŸ“–Psalm 122:1 I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.

πŸ”΄There should be a compulsion in your heart to be in church when you should.

πŸ”΄Cultivate that personal discipline. God says it’s important so it must be to you too.

πŸ”΄In the Old Testament, He said to the children of Israel, “Thrice in the year shall all your men children appear before the Lord GOD, the God of Israel. For I will cast out the nations before thee, and enlarge thy borders: neither shall any man desire thy land, when thou shalt go up to appear before the LORD thy God thrice in the year” (Exodus 34:23-24).

✅Notice what He told them; He promised them those lands, through their fathers: Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. But the lands were occupied by enemy nations who were naturally stronger than Israel. However, God was going to cast out the nations from before them, give them their possessions, enlarge their borders and protect them.

✅The blessing of verse twenty-four was fully dependent on their obedience in verse twenty-three; their being in the designated place of worship when they should.

πŸ”΄It’s all about priorities.

πŸ”΄Make it a priority to be present in your church, fellowship and cell-group meetings, God’s mighty hand of protection will rest upon all that you do!

πŸ”΄His Word that’ll come to you will lift you, and keep you perpetually above every evil, destruction, hardship and terror.

πŸ”΄You’ll ride upon the high places of the earth, walking in abundance, and in the wisdom of the Spirit. Hallelujah!

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

MONDAY AUGUST 26TH 2024 EXTRICATED FROM DEATH …who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel (2 Timothy 1:10).  PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  The Bible records that in ancient times, humans lived for exceptionally long periods with lifespans exceeding 900 years. However, as sin increased, lifespans diminished. Genesis 6:3 says because of sin, man's lifespan was limited to 120 years. Moses, in his psalms, made an observation that due to sin, the typical lifespan of man was seventy years or eighty for those who were stronger. Even in old age, man’s life was filled with toil and sorrow, ultimately ending in death (Psalm 90:8-10). The Lord Jesus, however, came to address the root cause of this limitation, which is sin. Through His sacrifice, He provided salvation from sin and made eternal life possible. Eternal life includes “deathlessness.” When you were born again, you passed from death to life (John 5:24). Recall what we read in our them...

The light of God is in you, in your spirit. You bear the perfections of Christ. Hallelujah! The Bible says, “For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ” (2 Corinthians 4:6). You’re truly the living tabernacle of God! Christ is alive in you. We are the last generation; the generation called to manifest His glory in the earth. This is what the earth has been waiting for. Romans 8:19 says, “For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.” We’re in office; we’ve taken our place of dominion, impacting our world with the glory of God. Psalm 20:7 says "Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God". The major problem with some people today is that they trust so much in their wealth and riches and have lost sight of who truly matters in their affairs, because they think it’s all about money. Never let anything take your attention away from the Lord. Let the Spirit have pre-eminence in your life. Make it a principle for yourself, and one to live by, that you’ll trust the Lord only and always.... click on the link below to study yesterday's  πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡ https://thekingsnation20.blogspot.com/2025/02/realitycheck_11.html
