TOPIC:HE HEARS YOU ALWAYS
(Prayer: A Joyful Response To God’s Invitation)

TO  THE  BIBLE  📖

1 John 5:14
“Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.”

LET’S  TALK 🗣️
“Look at Jason; he’s always praying in the field,” Zack whispered to Frank.
“Maybe he’s in some form of trouble?” Frank replied.
“Well, if he is, why not tell us, his friends?”

Some people are just like Frank and Zack, always thinking that prayer is a response of the helpless or the weak to insurmountable and overwhelming challenges; no! Prayer, primarily, is fellowship with God; and even though when one is oppressed or suffers injustice, he should pray, that isn’t the reason for prayer.

Prayer is the joyful response of the one who, with a heart full of faith, trusts in the living God. It’s a response, more to God’s invitation to pray than the response to a situation. He invited us to pray because He intended to answer.

Ephesians 6:18 says, “Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.” Notice that it says, “Praying always”; not “Praying sometimes.” It’s similar to what the Lord said in Luke 18:1 KJV: “...Men ought always to pray, and not to faint.”

If you’re a praying Christian, you’ll be an effective Christian; effective through the power of the Holy Spirit. And the greatest part of prayer isn’t the prayer itself; it’s the answer. We haven’t had a great prayer time if we didn’t receive answers to our prayer!

Irrespective of what we have said in prayer, it’s God’s response that truly matters. Glory to God!
We’re ordained to receive answers when we pray because He said if we pray according to His will—His rule for prayer, which is praying in the Name of Jesus—He hears us. If He heard us, then He answered us.

That’s the beauty of prayer: the fact that we’re guaranteed to be heard (1 John 5:14). You ought to rejoice each time you pray, and say like Jesus, “Father, I thank you, because you hear me always” (John 11:42 paraphrased). Hallelujah!

Pray 🙏
Heavenly Father, I thank you for the blessing, privilege and opportunity of prayer; a channel for rich fellowship with you. I trust you with my life, and I’m confident that my future is secure; I’ll fulfil your destiny for me gloriously, as I remain yielded to your Spirit, guided by your wisdom, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

MONDAY, 14TH JULY 2025 THE VIRGIN BIRTH CONFIRMS HIS DEITY   Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us  (Matthew 1:23). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME    When we say Jesus Christ is deity, we’re affirmingthat He is God. This claim is significant, especially when you consider that many around the world view Jesus merely as a prophet or a great teacher. While it may seem respectful for some to call Him a great prophet or a remarkable teacher, these assertions fall far short of His true identity.    That’s the reason it’s important to understand who He really is by first examining the miracle of His birth. TheBible describes His birth as extraordinary, something that had never occurred in all of history. Matthew 1:18 says, “Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with c...

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

THURSDAY, JULY 31TH 2025 OUR UNIQUE ASSIGNMENTS IN THE MILLENNIUM Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment. And a man shall be as an hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest; as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land (Isaiah 32:1-2). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  Our theme scripture is prophetic about the Millennium. The latter part alludes to the unique role we (the Church) would be playing in the millennial reign, when Israel takes center stage. The millennial reign of Christ is not for the Church. It’s for Israel. So, what are we, the Church, going to be doing then? We're going to be carrying out angelic assignments. Our role at the millennial reign of Christ is very different from what a lot of people think; it’s going to be much like what the angels do today in ministering for us. In that day, the Jews will walk in the Millennial blessings that characterize the life of the saints wh...
