~ PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Dsc.Dsc.DD.

πŸ”΄John Wesley, the great English minister, once said, “It appears God will do nothing except we pray.”

πŸ”΄He made this important statement because he observed that changes took place in his life and ministry and in society when he and others prayed.

πŸ”΄Prayer is not a waste of time.

πŸ”΄When you pray, you cause significant changes in the Spirit.

πŸ“–Ephesians 6:18 CEV “Never stop praying, especially for others. Always pray by the power of the Spirit. Stay alert and keep praying for God’s people.”

πŸ”΄Those who don’t understand the power in prayer and don’t understand the spirit realm are the ones who think that prayer is the lazy man’s way.

πŸ”΄There’re many results we’ll never see except we pray. It’s God’s way of relating with us; He asked us to do it.

πŸ”΄Jesus prayed, and He taught us to pray. He said, “…Men ought always to pray and not to faint” (Luke 18:1).

πŸ”΄Why did He pray so much? It’s because He was living in a world of darkness and needed to effect changes in men’s lives. It’s one of the reasons He was so effective.

πŸ”΄With so much going on in our world today, we should never think we’re helpless; there’s something we can do.

πŸ”΄Any Christian can actually effect changes.

πŸ”΄Don’t be like the person who says defeatedly, “All I can do is just pray.” No. We don’t just pray.

πŸ”΄In our prayers, we’re purposeful enough to make definite changes.

πŸ”΄God never told us to “just pray” as a form of religion. He told us to pray so that things would change to our advantage.

πŸ”΄Remember what Jesus said: “You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you…” (Acts 1:8). That power is the dynamic ability to cause changes and it’s in you now.

πŸ”΄So, when next you take up a matter in prayer, no matter how urgent it is, don’t for a second think you’re wasting time by praying.

πŸ”΄Instead, be conscious that you’re bringing the power of the Spirit of God to bear on that situation.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

MONDAY AUGUST 26TH 2024 EXTRICATED FROM DEATH …who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel (2 Timothy 1:10).  PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  The Bible records that in ancient times, humans lived for exceptionally long periods with lifespans exceeding 900 years. However, as sin increased, lifespans diminished. Genesis 6:3 says because of sin, man's lifespan was limited to 120 years. Moses, in his psalms, made an observation that due to sin, the typical lifespan of man was seventy years or eighty for those who were stronger. Even in old age, man’s life was filled with toil and sorrow, ultimately ending in death (Psalm 90:8-10). The Lord Jesus, however, came to address the root cause of this limitation, which is sin. Through His sacrifice, He provided salvation from sin and made eternal life possible. Eternal life includes “deathlessness.” When you were born again, you passed from death to life (John 5:24). Recall what we read in our them...

#RealityCheck

The light of God is in you, in your spirit. You bear the perfections of Christ. Hallelujah! The Bible says, “For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ” (2 Corinthians 4:6). You’re truly the living tabernacle of God! Christ is alive in you. We are the last generation; the generation called to manifest His glory in the earth. This is what the earth has been waiting for. Romans 8:19 says, “For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.” We’re in office; we’ve taken our place of dominion, impacting our world with the glory of God. 🌨️RHAPSODY OF REALITIES🌨️

πŸ‘€PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Dsc.DD. πŸ—’️THURSDAY,20 JANUARY 2022πŸ—’️ ⏮️TOPIC: THE KINGDOM WAY OF LIFE  SCRIPTURE πŸ“– Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son (Colossians 1:13) πŸ“THE MESSAGEπŸ“ When you were born again, you were born into the Kingdom of God’s dear Son. Even though you now live and walk in His presence, you still have to learn how to live in this real Kingdom of Light, and the Scriptures will help you understand this by the power of the Holy Spirit. Paul writing to Timothy said: “But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God…” (1 Timothy 3:15). This means there’s a way to behave oneself in the house of God. Christianity isn’t a way of life, but it has a way of life. In this Kingdom, there’s a language; we have our communication protocols. There’s a way of life; we think differently. This is something the devil doesn’t want many to know. He wants...
