OUR FELLOWSHIP WITH DIVINITY

For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us (Ephesians 2:14).

PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

Angels, as far as we know, will live forever. But the life they have isn’t eternal life. They don’t have the organic and existential attributes of deity. That’s why they can’t have real fellowship with God. Only the new creations in Christ, are called into fellowship with divinity: “God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord” (1 Corinthians 1:9).

Do you see why we’re different from angels? We were brought into fellowship with Jesus Christ. We’ve become associates or sharers of His life, glory and nature. In fact, the Bible tells us He brought us into such a relationship that made us joint heirs with Him (Romans 8:17). What a blessed reality!

There's something about this fellowship that’s extraordinary. It’s deeper than being brought into God's class or being made friends with God; it’s the most significant aspect of our fellowship with Him and we find it in John 14:10. There, the Lord Jesus was speaking to Philip, one of His disciples, and said, “Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.”

If you understand this scripture, everything about your life is settled. Who was Jesus referring to when He said, “The Father that dwelleth in me”? He was referring to the Holy Spirit. That’s the same Holy Spirit that lives in you today; He’s the Father that dwells in you. 1 Corinthians 3:16 says, “Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?” Now you can understand why the Bible says, “…truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ” (1 John 1:3). Our fellowship, our oneness with divinity is the biggest thing about Christianity. Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for your grace, your love, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit that I enjoy. Thank you for making me inseparably one with you and a partaker of the divine nature. I’m completely yielded to the Holy Spirit who dwells in me and orchestrates the circumstances of my life to synchronize with your perfect will. I walk in the consciousness of my oneness with you, today and always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

MONDAY AUGUST 26TH 2024 EXTRICATED FROM DEATH …who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel (2 Timothy 1:10).  PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  The Bible records that in ancient times, humans lived for exceptionally long periods with lifespans exceeding 900 years. However, as sin increased, lifespans diminished. Genesis 6:3 says because of sin, man's lifespan was limited to 120 years. Moses, in his psalms, made an observation that due to sin, the typical lifespan of man was seventy years or eighty for those who were stronger. Even in old age, man’s life was filled with toil and sorrow, ultimately ending in death (Psalm 90:8-10). The Lord Jesus, however, came to address the root cause of this limitation, which is sin. Through His sacrifice, He provided salvation from sin and made eternal life possible. Eternal life includes “deathlessness.” When you were born again, you passed from death to life (John 5:24). #RealityCheck

The light of God is in you, in your spirit. You bear the perfections of Christ. Hallelujah! The Bible says, “For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ” (2 Corinthians 4:6). You’re truly the living tabernacle of God! Christ is alive in you. We are the last generation; the generation called to manifest His glory in the earth. This is what the earth has been waiting for. Romans 8:19 says, “For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.” We’re in office; we’ve taken our place of dominion, impacting our world with the glory of God. TUESDAY, JULY 1ST 2025 CUSTODIANS OF A MESSAGE THAT WORKS For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth... (Romans 1:16). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  The Gospel of Jesus Christ that we preach is a message that truly works. It’s a message that produces undeniable results for everyone who believes it. It’s the reason you must be quick and bold to share it with others. I remember talking to a man who had a very severe heart condition. The doctors had diagnosed him with heart failure and said he needed a transplant. But as I shared the Gospel with him, I said, “While I’m talking with you, there’ll be a change in your heart. All you have to do is believe what I’m telling you; just believe and give me a few minutes of your attention.” He agreed. So, I kept talking to him, sharing with him the words of life. After about 15 minutes, I said to him, “It’s done.” And he replied, “Yes; it’s done.” The next test conducted on him ...
