_Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD_ _Tuesday, July 28th 2026_ *GOD LOVES YOU SPECIALLY* _For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life_ *(John 3:16)* God loves everybody. The Bible says He so loved the world, people, and He sent Jesus, His Son, to save them from their sins. So, God is love, and He loves all men. However, from the Scriptures, we find that God also loves some people specially.  Solomon is an example: when he was born, the Bible tells us the Lord loved him (2 Samuel 12:24). This was special. The Lord Jesus also loved John specially. John knew it so much, he called himself the disciple whom Jesus loved. The rich young ruler who came to ask Jesus questions is also another example; the Bible says Jesus loved him (Mark 10:17-21).  Did you know you also can walk in this special love? Absolutely! That’s God’s desire for you. Remember the scripture, *“The grace of...

_Avoid opening the door to negativity in your life. Giving generously will not replace what you've lost due to disobedience. Regardless of your achievements, never disregard God's Word or consider yourself above correction. The validity of a thought or action should not be based on emotions._ _Don't let differences of opinion lead to division or anger. Pride is a toxic force that can cloud your judgment. Eliminate pride before it ruins your life. Allow God's Word to guide your decisions, not your personal desires. You are cherished by God, unique, and exceptional! Why tarnish your mind with pride, jealousy, envy, or gossip? Remember, you are royalty and a product of Love._ _Avoid speaking negatively about others or fostering animosity towards them. Refrain from inciting hatred; instead, promote love and unity. Let positivity and kindness be the essence of your interactions with others._

Even though He is the Son of God, He allowed John to baptize Him (Matthew 3:13-15). He didn't act more important than others. He chose to obey God.   He also told His disciples that anyone who wants to be great must be ready to serve (Matthew 20:26). He even washed their feet to show them how (John 13:13-15).   The Bible says Jesus humbled Himself and did what God wanted. As a result, God lifted Him and gave Him the highest name (Philippians 2:9-11).   So, to be great, you have to choose humility. Choose to do things in God's way. Help at home. Be kind at school. The opening scripture isn’t a promise for the future; it is a present reality. The grace of God pilots you. It causes you to reign in life. To reign means to live in dominion. It means you’re always on top, always above, never beneath. This is consistent with what God said to the children of Israel: “And the Lord shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath…” (Deuteronomy 28:13).  Now, in Christ Jesus, by this amazing grace, that becomes your daily experience. _Nobody knows your entire life's story like you. They may have heard pieces of it, but no one will ever know you like the way you know yourself. Learn to stay calm._  _Don't allow your anger become someone else's victory. Your heart was not created to wither and be discouraged, promise yourself to always bloom no matter how faded life is in your eyes. Live in the present truth, do not not return your mind to the past, so that you do not become stuck to the past. There's something that distinguises you from others. Find that thing that sets you apart from everyone else and build on it. Your strength is in your uniqueness!_ _Your freedom begins when you reach a point where you do not feel the need to impress or win the approval of anyone around you but God and yourself._
