He said in Luke 12:15, *“…Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.”* Many worry about material possessions, but you don’t get better by worrying. No one ever did. The Master made this clear when He asked in Luke 12:25, *“...which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit?”* Worry, rather than improve your condition, distracts you from your true calling. That’s why He said don’t be anxious about your life, what you’ll eat, what you’ll drink, or what you’ll wear. You’ve been called to a higher purpose....
