TOPIC: COMPETENT FOR ANY TASK
(The Grace For Excellence Is Yours!)

TO THE BIBLE 📖
2 Corinthians 9:8

“And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.”

LET'S TALK 🗣️

Every Christian has the grace to excel in everything. God is able to direct all the grace you require for anything in this life towards you, such that you’re never behind in competence or ability. You’re qualified for any task; that’s what it means to have “all sufficiency in all things”; it means you have all the competencies and special skills required for excellence in every good work.

The word translated “sufficiency” in 2 Corinthians 9:8 is the Greek “autarkeia” which means competence. This indicates a state of self-sufficiency whereby you require no aid or support. God has given you a life that makes you so competent that you don’t require any help! You can be competent in all things—school, in your family, and daily pursuit

Also, another word for the word “sufficiency” in 2 Corinthians 3:5 is the Greek “hikanotes,” which means ability: “Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God….” This means that the ability of God has been made available to you. No wonder Apostle Paul concludes in Philippians 4:13 as he said: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

You too have been specially enabled to live supernaturally to the glory of God because it says your sufficiency, your ability, your “hikanotes” is of God. Refuse to function with your human ability; rather, function with divine might. That’s what you’re going to do throughout this year: use supernatural ability. You can do all things through Christ!

PRAYER🙏
Dear Father, I thank you for granting me the grace to excel in everything in life! I make progress by your Spirit and move from one level of glory to an even higher realm of glory, and my success is seen by all, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

MONDAY AUGUST 26TH 2024 EXTRICATED FROM DEATH …who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel (2 Timothy 1:10).  PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  The Bible records that in ancient times, humans lived for exceptionally long periods with lifespans exceeding 900 years. However, as sin increased, lifespans diminished. Genesis 6:3 says because of sin, man's lifespan was limited to 120 years. Moses, in his psalms, made an observation that due to sin, the typical lifespan of man was seventy years or eighty for those who were stronger. Even in old age, man’s life was filled with toil and sorrow, ultimately ending in death (Psalm 90:8-10). The Lord Jesus, however, came to address the root cause of this limitation, which is sin. Through His sacrifice, He provided salvation from sin and made eternal life possible. Eternal life includes “deathlessness.” When you were born again, you passed from death to life (John 5:24). Recall what we read in our them...

TUESDAY, JULY 1ST 2025 CUSTODIANS OF A MESSAGE THAT WORKS For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth... (Romans 1:16). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  The Gospel of Jesus Christ that we preach is a message that truly works. It’s a message that produces undeniable results for everyone who believes it. It’s the reason you must be quick and bold to share it with others. I remember talking to a man who had a very severe heart condition. The doctors had diagnosed him with heart failure and said he needed a transplant. But as I shared the Gospel with him, I said, “While I’m talking with you, there’ll be a change in your heart. All you have to do is believe what I’m telling you; just believe and give me a few minutes of your attention.” He agreed. So, I kept talking to him, sharing with him the words of life. After about 15 minutes, I said to him, “It’s done.” And he replied, “Yes; it’s done.” The next test conducted on him ...
