A GREAT HONOUR!

Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! (1 John 3:1)

I’m sure you’d be delighted to get a visit from the president of your country. You’d probably tell all your friends and neighbours about it. But, as great as that may be, there’s someone even better and greater living in you.

He’s the Creator of the world and He is your Father. What a great honour this is! This is why you shouldn’t let anyone or anything intimidate you. The greater One lives in you and calls you, His child. Hallelujah!

Dear Father, it’s a privilege and great honour to be called your child and be loved by you. I live my life for your glory as I tell others about your love, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
