Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Dsc.Dsc.DD

πŸ”΄Walking in love isn’t an option for the Christian, and one major characteristic of love is that it forgives.

πŸ”΄You must always forgive others, irrespective of what they might have done against you.

πŸ”΄It doesn’t matter the extent of hatred and acrimony you may experience from certain people, you have the obligation to love and forgive those who hurt or persecute you, like Jesus did.

πŸ”΄Imagine His reaction to those who crucified Him; He looked up to heaven and said, “...Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do...” (Luke 23:34). He overlooked their ignorance and forgave their wrongs.

πŸ”΄Always be quick to forgive.

πŸ”΄Don’t say, “But what he did was so terrible”; there’s no wrong that doesn’t deserve forgiveness. Jesus proved it.

πŸ”΄Hold nothing against anyone. Even the most difficult people, under the most difficult circumstances, still deserve to be loved.

πŸ“–1 John 4:7-12 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. 8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. 9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. 10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son [to be] the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. 12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

πŸ”΄God wants you to know that all people are valuable to Him, irrespective of how you may feel about them. Train yourself to relate with everyone around you in this manner.

πŸ”΄Never judge or condemn others.

πŸ”΄Follow the example of the Master. He said in Matthew 5:44-45, “…Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven….”

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

MONDAY, 14TH JULY 2025 THE VIRGIN BIRTH CONFIRMS HIS DEITY   Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us  (Matthew 1:23). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME    When we say Jesus Christ is deity, we’re affirmingthat He is God. This claim is significant, especially when you consider that many around the world view Jesus merely as a prophet or a great teacher. While it may seem respectful for some to call Him a great prophet or a remarkable teacher, these assertions fall far short of His true identity.    That’s the reason it’s important to understand who He really is by first examining the miracle of His birth. TheBible describes His birth as extraordinary, something that had never occurred in all of history. Matthew 1:18 says, “Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with c...

THURSDAY, JULY 31TH 2025 OUR UNIQUE ASSIGNMENTS IN THE MILLENNIUM Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment. And a man shall be as an hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest; as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land (Isaiah 32:1-2). PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME  Our theme scripture is prophetic about the Millennium. The latter part alludes to the unique role we (the Church) would be playing in the millennial reign, when Israel takes center stage. The millennial reign of Christ is not for the Church. It’s for Israel. So, what are we, the Church, going to be doing then? We're going to be carrying out angelic assignments. Our role at the millennial reign of Christ is very different from what a lot of people think; it’s going to be much like what the angels do today in ministering for us. In that day, the Jews will walk in the Millennial blessings that characterize the life of the saints wh...
